Just upgraded my P2 to v2.0 and tried my Data Link and while I cannot fly right now on the bench it connect just fine and appears to be functioning. I will try to fly it this weekend. I am still waiting for Apple to release the latest version of the App. The current version communicates with the P2.
It means according to DJI Engineers you don't have to do anything to set up failsafe. There are those of us, that while we may agree with DJI, we like to see it in Assistant. The choice is up to you.
Phantom 2 and Phantom 2 Vision Firmware v2.0 Upgrade
Fellow users, there was a server issue with the V2.0 upgrade for the Phantom 2 and Phantom 2 Vision. It should be resolved tomorrow. DJI appreciates your patience in this.
I would recommend getting used to the GS control on something less expensive than a $10,000 AP ship. Have your Tx handy so you can take control in case something happens. You just need to switch out of GPS to regain control.
AboveAllAP,
I have not heard that. Sounds like the dealer wants to sell more of the H3-3D. Do I expect more firmware upgrades, maybe not. But DJI will continue to support the product with repairs and warranty replacements, of course.
Corey,
What you describe is the normal throttle behavior for a Naza controller for sometime now. You arm and then advance the throttle to 50% then lift off. After you take off your throttle becomes linear.
You need to connect your Naza to the Assistant and set the Rx to Traditional and calibrate your Tx and set up your switches. There are many videos on the net to assist you with your radio. Make sure that you set up preset failsafe before you fly.
