You misunderstood me. I drill a hole in the base mount and the grub screw secures the CF pole. I did drill a hole in the top plate to mount the base mount but I use nylon screws and I looked for the traces in the plate.

I just drilled and tapped the hole for a grub screw. I have done this several times.

My F450 is also fully loaded but I use 4S 4000 packs. I don't push it while doing a job so I limit my flight times to 6 minutes. I have a lot of packs so it is not an issue. I also set up my shots so I have very little wasted video.

I would try the 10x3.8 props. They work well with 4S. If you can find them you can also try the new 9443 props. DJI has introduced them without the self tightening feature. They work well also.

The maxon motors and the green back plate are the older units. The unmarked motors and the black back plate are the newer ones. I own both. I ordered additional units from EmpireRC. You can also check ebay. You may be able to find them there.

That has already been requested. I wish Failsafe would show in Assistant the way is showed with the WKM and the Naza. The first time you try it, it is an act of faith. It works but you are correct, it would be nice to better document the feature.
