The A2 is very particular on the connections. If you do not connect according to the manual it will not work. The GS needs to be connected to Can1. There is no other option. if you do not have an available port then you need a can hub. I replied to Robert at DJI NA and this is the same...
F550, 9443 props, 2x4000ma 4S, H3-2D, Go Pro, AeroXcraft landing gear, A2 and Lightbridge. 2870g. I am using the E300 motors and props but not the escs. I am currently missing 2. It is a pig. But it flies ok.
You really don't need 50C lipos. The max that I have for my MR craft is 35C. Most of mine are at 20C. They all work fine. That is from a F330 to a S800. 4S to 6S. Others may have different opinions.
I will admit I am a geezer geek. I have been flying "drones" for a while now and it is now my job to do it. Yes you can hate me for that. I have a dream job. What can I say. The issues of control relies on the ability to enforce the controls. To this point the government has not been able...

The Assistant has a number error codes that it can display. I wanted to see if any of them were displayed. The first A2 that I received I could not calibrate the compass no matter what I did. I received a replacement GPS puck and all was well. I have not had issues since that time...
Loose some weight. The motors are probably rated for 400-500gm per motor. That puts you at about 2kg. That is a big difference from 12 pounds or over 5kg. My F550 hexa weighs 2.87kg with 2x4000 4S lipos, H3-2D, A2 controller, AeroXcraft landing gear and lightbridge. I think it is pretty...
You are underpowered for that kind of weight. You need some bigger motors and props but they won't fit on your 450 frame. Time to go big or go home. I would also move to 4-6S power while you are at it.
Have you used eCalc? it is your friend when seeing if a proposed setup will work. You...
Is your Aux3 channel mapped to the X1 control? Show me your set up and a screen shot from Assistant. When you modify the settings with a knob or lever you need to go into Assistant and it will read that new setting. However, if you do not write it, it will not be recorded permanently in the Naza.
