You have to make sure that your USB device manager shows the DJI device. If that does not happen you have a Device Manager issue. Go here and see if you can work it out:

Have you updated your firmware? If so reset everything to default, do Advanced IMU calibration, download the Phantom settings from DJI and import to your P2V. Then before you fly again, do the compass calibration. That should help you.
