Help with JR 11x zero and Nasa

With the Naza you can have GPS, ATTI, MAN or GPS, ATTI, Failsafe. At least I think that's how it goes. Unlike the Wookong you don't have a separate RTH channel. I just remember the percentage of travel adjust needed and select it at the field. Unless of course you have a 4 position switch which...

    Battery for S800 question

Agreed. I wouldn't recommend using two 3S in series. Your flight time would be short. I also use two 6S 5000mah in parallel and get a good 10mins flight fully loaded.

    Dji f450 battery size????

And you won't be flying till you see any symptoms of low voltage! You must always leave 20% in your lipos. Cool?

    Dji f450 battery size????

I find the flight time by starting with a low figure, say 4 mins and hovering. See how many mah you put back into your lipo in the charger. Increase flight time each flight until you're putting back in about 80% of the total mah listed on your lipo. I have 4S 5000mah lipos and put back in...

    Dji f450 battery size????

Woe there cowboy. The red simply means that you haven't written the figures to the FC. Press the write button! You can leave the load figure on default but change the big voltage. I only worry about the last number. Mines low ( about 3.3v per cell under load) which will only kick in if something...

Go Pro Hero 2 - Has anyone found a way to remotely snap photos using the transmitter

You can video and take stills from that I guess. Not exactly what you're looking for. The button on the camera without the case on moves easily. Maybe using a servo minus the Gopro hard case would work?

DJI F550 hexacopter using a 1.2Ghz 1 watt fpv TX (with LPF)

Seems fine to me. You'll fly for miles! What control frequency are you using?

    DJI 550 w/ Naza-M GPS - won't hold Altitude in hover.

Ps- what's your low voltage set to? It can be set pretty low if you like. It's just for emergencies imho. And did you calibrate your GPS as per manual/YouTube? Just checking....

    DJI 550 w/ Naza-M GPS - won't hold Altitude in hover.

Yeah, that lipo is pretty heavy. I use a 5000mah 4S which is considered the biggest you should use. I use 9" props with my 4S lipos which give plenty of power. I you have some different lipo/prop combinations try them. You'll notice a huge difference when you get them right. Using Tapatalk...

    Hi from London

That sounds like a great idea! I think legally we a little constrained in what we can do 'spur of the moment' as their is the element of planning involved, but you've gone through ground school (as I just have also) so probably have a pretty good idea what we can do. I know many in the public...

    Wanted: DJI Zenmuse (NEX)

Hi there, My motors run cold. I think the hot motor is certainly your issue. Try removing the cover and having a good look over the motor. Are there any screws missing or jammed in the motor or are the bearings completely jammed up, that kinda thing. Hope you fix it!

    Another one bites the dust...

Oh dear. Poor piggy. In the UK we have a regulated industry. The flight mentioned in this post was agreed by the CAA. The fact he cut his throttle and allowed the £25,000 camera to fall into a river took some balls. He realised he had no control and followed the plan. I personally wouldn't...

    Another one bites the dust...

This video was an example of best practise. It was a legal flight approved by the CAA. The pilots were in touch with London City airport and only flew with their consent. The flight plan was approved beforehand. There was an investigation and the pilot passed with flying colours. He just retook...
