Battery for S800 question

I know the S800 requires 6S batteries, can I run 2 3S batteries in parallel?

You can run them is series thus getting the increased voltage. Parallel will give you the initial voltage, just more amps.

I run 6s lipos in parallel for added redundancy, if one pack loses a cel you still have full power. When in series the likelihood of a bad cel doubles (statistically that is).

I use dual 5500 or 6000, that seems to be the sweet spot for S800/Zen combo.

Agreed. I wouldn't recommend using two 3S in series. Your flight time would be short. I also use two 6S 5000mah in parallel and get a good 10mins flight fully loaded.

Try 2 thunder power 8000 very light very thin extremely expensive you will get 24 min
