    Hoverfly Setup client and smoothness

It sounds like a power noise issue. The Gimbal and OSD aren't connected at all electrically except for their source of power. A power filter on your servos, or using an additional BEC for your servos alone should help.

    Hoverfly H Quad

That's really cool Earl! I want to build one now. I've always wanted to Kayak out into the middle of no-where and fly. I may build one! In terms of needing a different mode, you don't. As long as the motors form a nice square (not rectangle) the X mode will work without any modification.

    Hoverfly HF GPS not work

Sounds like a problem with your compass. Anything magnetic must be removed from your multirotor. This means any steel screws (aluminum or nylon should be used), ferrite beads, etc. Also, I have seen cases where some electronics put out really large magnetic fields. To reduce this, twist all...

Hoverfly motors turn on but don't spin up...

Jeff, Not really sure why this is happening, but I haven't used your ESCs before. There could be a compatibility issue there. If they work fine from the RX, they should work ok from the HoverflyPro. I think signal conditioners is a good place to start. These may work...

Hoverfly HOVERFLY PRO/GPS FIRMWARE RELEASE: v4.3.860

I would connect to the internet. It sounds like the setup client is trying to update itself. You should allow it to do so. Then try running it off-line. If that doesn't work, uninstall then re-install the setup client from our website. http://www.hoverflyupdate.com/setupClient/publish.htm

    Hoverfly Setup client and smoothness

The smoothness setting doesn't have anything to do with how Autoleveling responds to wind, that's your gain setting. The Autoleveling smoothing setting just controls how aggressively autoleveling responds to stick inputs

Hoverfly Bumblebee 550 and Hoverfly Pro

It depends on what you are talking about. The "Select Mode" tab gets skipped on v4.x firmware because selecting the mode is no longer a necessary step in flashing firmware. This selection was moved to the setup client. Read here...

Hoverfly OSD and YAW issues .802

For your OSD. I recommend disconnecting the camera, and viewing the OSD data with a monitor plugged directly into the HFP

Hoverfly Hoverfly *** New firmware, ver .802

No. It changes the "feel" of autoleveling. You should try it.

Hoverfly OSD and YAW issues .802

Just to clarify, you're trying to use the Camera mount compensation on the HoverflyPro right? Aux3 is required to get tilt to work. If it's not plugged into the tilt channel of the HoverflyPro the tilt compensation won't work correctly.

Hoverfly Altitude Hold - best I can get is slowly dropping

Glad to hear it. The other day, I setup Position Hold and Altitude Hold while coding in the field. I was able to take my attention off of it for a full 10 minutes. When I looked back up, it was still flying in the spot I left it.

Hoverfly Hoverfly *** New firmware, ver .802

Make sure you load 802. It has fixes for autoleveling. If you have never flown with autoleveling before, it makes sense to start with the smoothing setting set to 100% until you get the feel of it. After that, decrease to something below 30% for a VERY smooth control.

Hoverfly Altitude Hold - best I can get is slowly dropping

We are working on improvements to altitude hold. In the mean time, putting a piece of open cell foam on your pressure sensor can help with this kind of thing. You should be able to get pretty darn good results with the current version of altitude hold.
