Hoverfly How many amps does the HF Pro board draw?

If I'm not mistaking it's 160mA. Certainly less than 500mA.

Hoverfly Quadcopter yaw to the left (hoverfly sport)

It should fly similarly to the HoverflyPro with everything turned off. It should be mostly hands off if you have the correct gains set.

    Hoverfly Hoverfly Gimbal Controller?

Really the major change in 4.6 is altitude hold that does +-1ft in good conditions. Even with 4.3.802, you should easily get gps hold of <10' in good weather conditions. I know with just basic setup, all of our rigs do that. Only with a strong wind have I seen larger radius GPS hold. There...

    Hoverfly Praise for Hoverfly...

Not sure when this has happened, but we (Hoverfly) is mostly closed for the Holiday. The slow response is likely related to that. I'll ping him for you.

    Hoverfly Hoverfly Gimbal Controller?

Guys, Fill out a support ticket here: http://hoverflytech.zendesk.com so we can help you more effectively. I can tell you with some confidence that this is a configuration issue on your gimbal and not a firmware bug. It just needs to be setup properly. We have many gimbals which go from...

Hoverfly Quadcopter yaw to the left (hoverfly sport)

There's no calibration for the Sport at all. All of the calibrations are to support autoleveling and GPS functions.

Hoverfly Quadcopter yaw to the left (hoverfly sport)

What is your thrust to weight ratio? If you have too much thrust this can happen. It can also happen if you have the wrong throttle range setup on your radios/escs. Read this. https://hoverflytech.zendesk.com/entries/21447258-throttle-range-setup-for-hoverflypro

Hoverfly Something fell off my HFP...

That is part of the onboard power filter. If it's damaged it could be the cause of your flip. You may want to use an LC filter from dpcav.com on the HoverflyPro's power input if that part is damaged.

    Hoverfly HFP gimble setup

The advance setting basically makes your gimbal move faster. Too little and your gimbal won't keep up. Too much and you'll get overshoot which is what you describe as "swing back". For the calibration setting, too much gearing could definitely cause you to use a very high value. You may be...

    Hoverfly Hoverfly Gimbal Controller?

There are 2 ways in which the HoverflyGIMBAL limits the travel of your camera mount. The first is in the form of the Minimum / Maximum Pulse Width (Configuration & Calibration -> Servo Configuration) for each channel. The second is the Max Deflection parameter (Configuration & Calibration ->...

    Hoverfly flight behaviours and gains

Hopefully this solves the problem. Make sure to double check your horizon in the setup client as this has a big impact on how autoleveling mode works. Temperature compensation would definitely make a big difference.

    Hoverfly NEW AH on 4.6r2

It's still on the firmware update client. You can still use the v4.3.802 firmware with the older setup client posted to the site. http://www.hoverflytech.com/Software_Updates.html

Hoverfly HF Setup Client and Firmware updates

No, it doesn't. It was just a version increment with no changes to the firmware. Really more for internal purposes than anything else. We announce any changes here: https://hoverflytech.zendesk.com/forums/20485022-release-notes

    Hoverfly flight behaviours and gains

Have you checked your artificial horizon in the setup client? Is it level when the HoverflyPro is level? If not, you may need to run the accelerometer calibration. Make sure the setup client says v4.6 on the bottom. Also make sure you have v4.6 firmware flashed to your HoverflyPro. If that...

    Hoverfly NEW AH on 4.6r2

Gain can also be a factor in these things. It is very important to really bang the sticks around before considering a particular gain setting a good one. You must attempt to induce oscillation and see the HoverflyPro not over or under correct before being satisfied. It is very easy to pick a...
