Hoverfly Setup client and smoothness

The amount of auto level assistance changes. So if you move it towards smooth it will take longer to autolevel but it will do so more smoothly for nice video footage. If you slide it more to the aggressive side then you'll see it constantly correcting to make the aircraft level but the resulting video will have a lot of movement in it. The balance will probably be different for different setups and flying preferences but it does give you the ability to "tune" autolevel to your preference.

Perfect answer, thanks. I knew what it did from reading other posts but with it explained that way ... it will really help me, on my next days of tweeking.

I started with 50%, changed to 25% and now I'm running only 10%. It doesn't feel like I'm wrestling the controls in AL any more :)

That's what I'm like now, but I was wondering if by lowering it ... when its windy, will it not recover as well?

The smoothness setting doesn't have anything to do with how Autoleveling responds to wind, that's your gain setting. The Autoleveling smoothing setting just controls how aggressively autoleveling responds to stick inputs

George i have a small problem with the OSD which is relayed to my build and I just need some advice on what the cause will be and the best way to fix it. When armed the OSD is fine but when i move my Hexa as the servos for my gimbal react the OSD flickers and is "noisy". Would this be related to my negative connections to the gimbal outputs and the OSD outputs?
Thanks
Mike

It sounds like a power noise issue. The Gimbal and OSD aren't connected at all electrically except for their source of power. A power filter on your servos, or using an additional BEC for your servos alone should help.
