    Hoverfly Hoverfly Sport "reset"?!

What firmware version / mode did you flash? I'm sure it is a problem with your board, but I want to double check on our setup just to make 100% sure.

    Hoverfly NEW AH on 4.6r2

Sorry to hear about your crash. We have 4 different size test aircraft (ranging from micro to heavy lift). I haven't seen anything like this on any of our aircraft. You were in autoleveling when this happened? Can you fill out a support request? http://hoverflytech.zendesk.com

Hoverfly The Disadvantages Of Not Calibrating HFP Board

It's not critical for the HoverflyPro to be perfectly vertical when calibrating. You also don't need to wait long. Just a second before clicking the calibrate button.

Hoverfly The Disadvantages Of Not Calibrating HFP Board

Is the artificial horizon level after you perform the calibration? Also, make sure you have manually downloaded and installed the v4.6 or greater setup client and have run the calibration with the corresponding v4.6 firmware installed on your HoverflyPro. These are common problems when running...

Hoverfly Scary 3.5 mile Fly-Away, RTH did not work

I wonder if there is a problem with the voltage your HoverflyPro was getting. Your battery indicated 7v. Which is the bare minimum you can feed your HoverflyPro. With the HoverflyGPS installed, a higher voltage may help. I'm guessing you're using a 2s battery to power your HoverflyPro. Why...

    Hoverfly Hoverfly GPS, another approach

That depends on what you use GPS hold for. I think you'll find that we don't claim accuracy better than 10' (though it may be achievable in the future). Right now, GPS is intended to work more for failsafe situations rather than as a tool to keep your multi-rotor in exactly the same spot.

Hoverfly Scary 3.5 mile Fly-Away, RTH did not work

One more thing. The compass is indicating 17 degrees for your heading. Can you confirm that the multirotor was facing roughly north when this happened?

Hoverfly Scary 3.5 mile Fly-Away, RTH did not work

Wow. I'm glad to see you recovered it ok. We would like to get the logs from your GPS board, if you can provide them. We also need the date of the incident. We'd like very much to find out why this happened so we can either fix it or learn something from it. Return to home has been tested...

    Hoverfly Hoverfly GPS, another approach

You could still have compass issues. I would start by re-calibrating your compass. The current version of GPS hold also does not hold a position extremely aggressively, but it should more or less stay in the same position. -George

    Hoverfly Hoverfly GPS, another approach

Bart, What you are seeing is related to the on-board compass on the HoverflyGPS picking up EMI from your on-board electronics. We have a solution for this. https://hoverflytech.zendesk.com/entries/22417583-external-compass-magnetometer-v4-6-and-above Moving your HoverflyGPS board a few...

Hoverfly GPS and Data Log question

Glad your liking it. GPS hold for the moment will be a little rough. It's something we are working on. HDOP of < 1.5 is very good. 1.0 being the device's theoretical maximum. The logs are stored on the SD card. The file name is the date of the flight. Just add a .csv extension to...

Hoverfly Twitchy HoverFly Pro XHex issue with Version 4.6 Firmware

You can probably use them. They might require a signal amp. Some of them do. www.dpcav.com/xcart/Servo-Signal-Booster-Amp.html

Hoverfly Twitchy HoverFly Pro XHex issue with Version 4.6 Firmware

I think it's more likely you are running into the bottom limiters. Try adding payload weight until you hover at roughly 50% throttle. What ESCs are you using?
  18. S11D336B

Hoverfly Twitchy HoverFly Pro XHex issue with Version 4.6 Firmware

Not likely. Here's when you need signal boosters. 1. Some ESCs load the HoverflyPro's ESC output ports down so much that they can't understand the signal we send them. 2. When using long leads between the HoverflyPro and the ESCs. If your ESCs are working with the HoverflyPro, you probably...

Yes, we have had success with it. The signal booster goes between the HoverflyPro and the ESCs.
