Maybe you can post a photo of your rig? And there's a way to enable recording data logs on the mx20 radio, so I assume you can do that on the newer radio, too. If you can figure out how to do that, it'd probably be very useful.

I have one of these that I ripped open and converted to use on the copter. When in 4K it gets a little wonky, but it still works. And it works great otherwise.

I don’t think GPS is going to be your problem. More likely you’ll have harmonics interfering with the 2.4 signal to your receiver for control of your copter (unless you’re using UHF). You should use a notch filter for your video TX to help prevent that.
