No can't feal anything on the motors turned by hand they all feal the same. Props are okay no chips and nothing picked up on them. Just looked at the video i did 10 min before the last flight and the vibration and sound were much less. Just to go sure Ill put on a fresh set up graupners balanced and if its till there switching the motors sick of them !

I remember playing around in some leaves before the last flight and letting the disco being a tornado in them, maybe something happened there :)

Thanks

Boris

Some dirt must have entered the motor bearings. I even cover my copters when the cleaning lady dusts the house. Sealed bearings ftw.

this is both tbs discovery and zII

most of the train track runs were downwind. it was like getting kicked in the butt all the way down the track. Talk about stressful. looking down quad, looking forward, zeph. kinda windy and bouncy, but it was still fun

Flights like that would be impossible here, there aren't any roads that flat, straight, or deserted, not to mention they're mostly all tree lined with overhanging branches!

The newly rebuilt Discovery #2.5 had its maiden flights today and I have to say, what a sweet flyin machine it is...

First flight I took it moderately easy on it, not too low, not too high, and basically flew it from one end of the field to the other a few times to make sure all was well. Second and third flights got a little more edgy at times, flying between trees and chasing a rogue dirtbike that found its way out to the field.

I'm doing some video editing now, I'll post one or two later.

Ken

First flight after rebuild, raw video, no stabilization, the only editing was adding the PIP. This thing is smooooooth...

Man, got the addrenaline flowing so hard today i could smell it. it's been a while...... one word explains today, BONER

Called it revenge at daves cause last time i was here was the first time i'd flown around 2.4 radios..... it was a line of sight type of deal. this tie i let r rip, just wish i'd have brought the tracker for the zeph, used 3db crosshairs in diversity on it like i do my quads and 3 miles out over the pacific it was dikin out on me. but still fun. Them fishing boats must have some strong radios on em.
