I am not only flying mrc .. also planes and helicopter. So those are only from the mrc videos ...lol :)

Took my Discovery out to Glamis san dunes this weekend. only spent a few hours there, but what a trip. the sand is mezmorizing as it goes by when your flying. had quite the wind going on, probably 15-20ish. when it goes up and does the panoramic you can see the gps tilting it as it pivots. Fun place but i gotta setup better plus this places season is just starting. This place fills up with some fun stuff to chase. I'll find just the right spot and take the zeph into here and chase some long travel cars jumping hundreds of feet through the air from above. Thanksgiving is the kickoff weekend,,, might hit it then or new years, but i need to try different spots. Crazy how important setup is to a fun flight and that includes where you stand


that's the new sony as-10 action cam... I'm building other flicks with side by side with the quad wearing both cams through river flights. That new protune is the real deal, problem though..... it chews through memory like it's free

wait till you see the rest of this stuff. the gopro looks amazing in the new firmware, but i filled up 64g of memory cards so will go through and pick and pull it apart. only flew the quad in Glamis and on the water. it likes wind better than the plane, but when the wind laid down, man what a ride...... miles and miles of proximity on all kinds of stuff

Kloner, nice vids mate. I loved the black sheep quad...my main concern is the fact that in forward flight the camera cant see ahead & your 2nd video proved my thoughts when you nearly had that island ;) Have you tried putting the cam on a small cheap gimbal with a cheap gyro for stabilisation...to keep the cam level?
That Sony AS10 is superb, I prefer the quality to your hero 2 to be honet!

yea, thats what was on it last trip and it ruined alot of good footage. Soon enough i'll be banging these out on the nex5n,,,, on tilt gimble

even when i fly that gimble rig, i had to let up just enough to look forward then bang it back to full forward cyclic in atti.

At this point i enjoy the zephyr better. fpv thing being able to cover 10-15 miles, fly for 20 minutes, etc. it's even foam so it floats... but i'm hoping the xy8 changes my feelings on that.

see the shaking,, hated it, and was flying through that so it was dissorientating


the as-10 aint half bad... the compression is heavy, but it seems to play alright

Jack, i'm in San Diego Ca,,,,, it doesn't get much better. Those deserts are getting ready to get filled up with millions and millions of what we call Snowbirds. all them guys up north that get loaded up in there class a motorhomes and head south for the winter. It's thousands of miles of what we call BLM land, all free to camp on just gotta move every 15 days, no charge unless you goto private grounds with power, sewer, water, etc. I'm really close to Quartzsite,,, probably the largest snow bird populations in the US.

it's heavan from oct through may,,,, then it's 120 degrees and they all leave again, just like the ducks

Once again, nice moves dood! It looked like the disco had a bit more wobble with the gp vs the sony. Must be an aerodynamic thing with one being shaped like a juice box and the other shaped like a torpedo.
What xy8 is gonna fly like THIS? I'd buy a ticket...

Thanks. that one your talking about had both cams on the quad at the same time...... so if you saw a difference, it's really the cams or how there mounted. The sony is in the hard case, double sided sticky tape foot... gopro is a layerlens craddled on a pad of ear plugs with a rubber band

I'll let ya know here shortly about the rest... but yea, if it works i'm gonna have a blast

captured live feed,,, this is 1 watt lawmate on the core with a sc2000 pixim cam and an immersion duo2400 with a pair of crosshairs........

I got kinda locked up flying the zeph this weekend cause it finally worked....... this is behind mountains, dirt mounds, trees and almost couple miles out...... and low


I've gotten to where the disco is my daytime rig, loves wind, lands on anything, greeat for out on the water. The zII hates wind, super big, needs a runway, easier out in the desert from the car

they all share the same exact parts like lawmate 1w 2.4 vtx,,,,, cp antenna sets. The zeph has a tracker and gps nav, the other 3 are just a core osd like the disco vid above so most of works the same......


I'm having a blast, most fun i've ever had with rc anything is fpv in general. that zephyr feels like a jet, pretty much a woodie machine but it's super stressful,,, especially on the eys. i pop up doing that in a 7" monitor standing int eh sun and i'm feelin like magoo
