have you tried any of that kind of fpv rob? i need to get a cheap set of props and dive into some navigating the bush. i'm always on graupners and that looks expensive

Yes, but only in attitude mode. Like you, the price of those Graupner props holds me back from some of the really close proximity flying. I just need to bite the bullet and take the chance.

cheers lads,i fly on the 10" Graups and trust me had tons of bush and hegde bumps,only ever bust one.
Manual mode on the Naza feels more in control to me,always take off in Atti and as soon as its lifted off switch over to manual.Helps if the quad hovers at 50%throttle like in Attimode.
just set a ton of expo at first and slowly reduce it every flight.

I'm going to try manual FPV flying this weekend... I'm guessing it will freak me out at first

that's the complete opposite of what i do, leave in manual and flip to atti as soon as it clears the ground.

i'm gonna give it a shot too. have flew thousands of hours of FBL helis, FB helis...... shouldn't be much different

do the swich from Atti to manual high at first:tennis:
what you'll find is it will probably tilt forward instantly so be ready to correct it...

i wanna get this thing diving as in mountain surfing and the only ways gonna be on the loose side.....

All teh guys with discos flying manual like really high man gains...... like 170 and up or they say it's pitchy

welcome.... where in israel is that? why so much trash on the ground? that normal or just the spot? bet them bees dug that... The farmers field is really small, that a normal sized field? what do they grow there?

Whats with your link? whats the look it has, interference?

If you set the ATTI to 50 on both pitch and roll and the basics to 100 with zero expo it will be loose enough in ATTI to do pretty much anything you want to but stable enough to not feel out of control as it tends to do in manual, that's how I fly all three of my Naza 99% of the time. Having learned multirotor flight on an MK where turning off autolevel is not an option it feels perfectly normal to me and in fact a bit looser than than a standard MK.

If you really want to get the hang of FPV in manual mode, do what I did, put a KK board on an F330 with a pilot cam and vTX, nothing else. First time I flew it with the goggles I got an adrenalin rush like I used to when I first started flying FPV, that little bugger is anything but stable! heck of a rush flying it though... :)

good stuff, should set a switch to give me that or the other.....

Them guys over on the disco thread are running pitch gains at 230 for manual flight....... insane.

had a 330, it was a sketchy little thing even with a naza, never tried fpv with it

Hi

This is near a small town in north israel 'kiriat bialiq'

The trash is constractors dumping where they can .. police is trying to fight ...

The fields are normal size here .. now they grow nothing .. mostly cotton or sunflowers over that spot.

How many people over there fpv? bet you get the place to yourself alot......
