A Drone Mind
Hello there,
The photos and videos you guys shared are just awesome. Especially the one shared by Coptercam, I would also suggest to go for canvas photo prints for displaying your beautiful artwork.
That's what I intend doing, only I'm going to buy my own printer because the price of getting it done elsewhere is too exensive if you're intending to do it regularly.

Aerial tests and sequence previews for a forthcoming documentary on Farmland Aviation, a private company in Kenya that provides crop spraying services to Northern and Eastern Africa, that will examine day-to-day maintenance of the highly specialised aircraft, the preparation and loading of insecticides or fertiliser and the extraordinary skills and stamina of the pilots who perform this invaluable and singularly dangerous work, under acutely testing conditions in remote locations.

The temporary tongue-in-cheek soundtrack is the theme from the 1955 film, The Dam Busters (all rights reserved by the composer Eric Coates).

Shot with a Panasonic GH2 on an S800/Z15 rig. Good as the Zenmuse is at maintaining a solid feel it cannot cope with the small vibrations that are still evident in one or two of the sequences.

This footage has not been post-stabilised. Other than selecting shots the only 'messing about' is reversing two of the shots for continuity and speeding up one of them.

Hey some nice shots there Flash! I'm surprised they let you fly over them when they were taking off. That looked great, but dangerous. Too bad about the Zenmuse freaking out. I wonder of post stabilization can fix that? Anyway, good work man!

I'm not sure John. Was tuning this hfg controller and got a call so just grabbed the one was tuning and hit it. He has his own setup but is at quadrocopter getting radians installed so asked if i could cover. problem is now he wants me all the time.

that little hexacrafter 800 with the new hexacrafter brushless gimbal are gonna make a go at this gig. naza gps so any of my partners can handle it when i'm gone kind thing. That is Ranco Santa Fe, it's probably 20 sq miles and those people are so rich, they don't let clients in to view the home till they have made a deal so thiere is several pieces of media for them. this is a perfect match for this tech...... the vegetation is so thick around em you can't just get a picture of the house.

Finally got my nex shooting pretty decent.... not bad for a servo gimbal and a heli 7 lbs too light for the props. it was hovering at 1/3 throttle, was trying to set it up for a red

Kloner - that isnt a problem, its a sign you are too cheap :) id say that is some brilliant NEX footage. Are you using any of the auto functions. I was kinda pleasantly surprised the other day in 1080 AVCHD + manual focus + everything else auto = pretty decent results. THey say not to do that with the ZEN but heck, i thought it was ok. Supposed to manually set Focus, SHutter and ISO, etc. - skate footage was manual focus everything else auto.

problem is now he wants me all the time.

Finally got my nex shooting pretty decent

the poor guy on the cam didn't have a live preview cause this stupid hdmi converter changed modes on me and couldn't get it sorted out so not only was i flying line of sight, but so was the camera guy that had never touched the thing before.

I use DMF, there is a color mode in there that has landscape color correction and i turn off the sound recording and use the kit lens

Wanna see what difference there was between his and mine? From :30 to 1:30 was my footage, all the other stuff was already done, but you see the horizon issue that sent it off to get fixed.

he needs kloner

What frame rate did you shoot that at? What's DMF? Are you using a NeX5n?
