I tried your suggestion Kloner however it does not work. When I press the video icon a window comes up and I can paste the link, then press OK and nothing shows up in the message. I tried to preview the message and it states there is nothing to view. So the data does not transfer from the popup window to the message. I am using Internet Explorer 11. Tried on two different computers, same result. I also noticed that if I type fast not all of the letters show up in the message box.

Hello John,

The reason for the motors pointing down is, that the needed box (for transport) can be smaller, since the GPS-mast will be removed (FPV-Antenna can be turned), and then everything (motor, props, landing-legs, gimbal...) is below. The flighttimes are mostly due to the batteries used, Gencace 4S12500mAh at 1000gr and GensAce 4S16000mAh at 1300gr.

Here the two when folded:

The "Snapper" you can get here:

The "Manta" here:

best regards
Ferdinand

Hi Ferdiand - can you advise on which frame you prefer for a x4 configuration? they look like they have similar dimensions folded from your picture. But i thought the black snapper was much bigger. your thoughts would be very appreciated.

The Snapper is a bit bigger, if you want to use 11,12,13,14,15" props , then the Snapper, if you want to use 11,12,13" then the Manta. If you want to use DJI-FCs, on the Manta only a Naza finds place within the frame, on the Snapper also a WKM can be used inside the frame. What too choose is personal flavor. Both can take a Zenmuse (or more), both can be upgraded to an X8, there is enough space for batteries on both, both can be equipped with "damping" plates ...

Thank you. Do you know if both can use a 3-axis zenmuse? i see the snapper has indicated on the website it can do so but not sure on the Manta.

Just finished building this for fun...

Neewer Alien-X frame from Amazon (cheap)
Eagle Tree Vector
DJI E300 (had spares lying around)
RMRC 700TVL
Boscam Goggles
DragonLink - newest receiver (very cool)
4S 3300 Turnigy (also have 4S 4000 that fits in the trunk)

Not sure what to think of the Vector yet. I'm a little more used to DJI controllers, but so far, flying in 3D or 2D/2D Hold, it's been pretty stable. The 2D Loiter, which is similar to DJI's GPS Hold is not quite as locked in, but... this is more for playing around.

Was using a RMRC 200mw 2.3/2.4Ghz transmitter with the Boscam goggles (which support 5.8 and 2.4). I wasn't getting much range with this - only around 600 feet, which is horrible. I typically run 1.2Ghz (1258) and of course, when I switched back to 1.2Ghz, I have to run my ground station and use 5.8Ghz relay to the goggles, which is ok. My range is typically 2~3 miles flying under 180 feet, but flying that far out with this new multi is a bit too much of an adrenaline rush, so... 1 mile is perfect. So far, I've had her going up to 40mph in 3D mode. Considering trying some different motors...

Bartman

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
a 150? looks fun, can you put a tape measure across the front of that and retake the photo pls? they get to a point where it's hard to tell exactly how small they are without a reference in the photo.

ZMR250

Been rebuilt a few times, just changed the Mobius and FPV camera mounts to be at 20 degrees. Started with HobbyKing blueseries ESCs, recently moved to RotorGeeks 12a ESCs due to the previous blueseries burning up. SunnySky 2204 2300kV motors, Naze32, Fatshark 600TVL CMOS with their 5.8Ghz 250mw transmitter.

Only have flown it a couple of times. Lots of fun!

Custom 3d printed lower and middle deck with a solid carbon upper deck. Nylon printed with carbon fiber printed with the markforge. Carbon tube arms with custom printed motor cups.
1806 2300kv Tmotors 5045 bull nose props
Cc3d flashed with clean flight
Fats hark predators with a clover leaf on board and a 4 turn helical antenna on the goggles.
Experimenting with 4s 1000s alot of fun but low flight time. Very light frame and very strong.

View attachment 27604 I hope to finish this up this weekend. There's three others I need to fix though before I can work on my own.
Dji s900 with tall landing gear, Zenmuse Z15 with a Sony A6000 and 20mm pancake lens, A2 Flight Control, iosd MKII, and it will have an ImmersionRC 600mw 5.8GHz transmitter for video and a fatshark 700 tvl for fpv view.
