I have the 330 frame ready to cut, want the file to give a try? I can't afford it right now. It is pretty much the size of discovery with 330 arms

Yes please!

All I need to do is find someplace to do the actual cutting around here, standoffs I can make on the lathe and I have plenty of nuts and bolts on hand plus a spare F330 frame kit to "borrow" the arms from so I don't have to take the flying 330 apart until the new frame is ready.

open this up and tell me it's got a .dxf polyarc and a .pdf. Anybody is welcome to give it a go, theres no power distro ( i used a dji bottom plate and cut it back to the bare bones worked best) and the location of the arms is better for less visible prop than my 450 was. The only thing really not refined is the front camera base. it's just a big ol lip. if you can edit cad files, help yourself. if you need a rubber band groove or something like that, let me know

Yuri prepped the file and cut me a 450 frame for $75, it took a couple days. if ya got nobody else, might hit him up. Shipping these is easy, he has g10. i'd recomend something thinner than my 450 was, like 1mm

Thanks for the files, everything appears to be there. Later this week I'll look into getting a set made, I know someone that can 3D print a set to try it out, might go that route first and if it looks good I'll have some cut from G10.

Spent the evening getting the EZUHF working and the 1.3 TX/RX setup and cabled with the vTX mounted on the F450. Not surprisingly the GPS didn't get a full lock sitting on the lawn out in the backyard afterward. It did start to acquire satellites but it's very slow to do it, I'm hoping once it does fully lock the GPS works well enough for position hold and RTH. If not I'll wait for the TBS Discovery frame for the 450 and spread things out a bit.

Tomorrow it's off to the flying field for some operational testing of the UHF and new video setup and a bit of relaxation with the F330 still flying with 2.4/5.8.

make sure the cloverleaf isn't over the gps. might even try moving the gps out the arm under a prop if you have to, my eagle tree gps works fine under props...... these 1.3 antennas are massive

the file is ready, was just waiting to have some extra cash. i cut it in vinyl and everything is perfect. it's the same frame i fly with 330 arm holes

Nice and clean install..how are you finding those mt 2216's?

Thanks!
The T-motors are smooth and power to go! I can't even begin to play with manual mode because I'm afraid the little frame would topple over itself in fast forward flight. TBS frame soon enough though...

I dont do pretty - too impatient, i do "barely functional"

heres my FPV quad, its a H quad flipped around, 650 wide (MTM) and 450 long, as pitch instability dosent show up on vid as much as roll, so figured wider is better

centre part is an ally tube, that can be adjusted to move the battery weight around, mount a gopro, whatever

box on the left of the photo houses the FC board and RX, box on the right houses the FPV camera, VXT and 3S 750 mah lipo

With GOPRO

bit to heavy on 3S with the GOPRO (3S 6000 - all up just shy of 2kg) so will retune for 4S
