zenmuse gh4, video levels, output problem

Looks like a monitor setting to me. Try adjusting brightness/contrast and such.

    Hi from London

Hi There! Welcome to the forum. Well, cameras are the easy bit I'm afraid. Learning to build and fly takes time, a lot of time, but the rewards are awesome! ANy questions feel free to ask. There's no such thing as a dumb question, unless it has nothing to do with multirotors! :nevreness:

Swollen or not swollen lipo, what to do?

It's probably okay, just a manufacturing thing. Does your charger do internal resistance (IR) monitoring? That's the best way to check the health of a lipo.

    Bird attack!

It'll be fine. The birds generally don't actually hit your aircraft, they just try and scare it away. Hawks and eagles don't count though, they will attack by all accounts!

Best video ever made with S1000

They had a clever rig. It sat on a frame for the inside bits. There's a picture of it in one of the many threads on this forum somewhere.

    Flying Indoors

Yep, you'll be fine. It's bloody noisy and as above, turbulence gets tricky close to things but just stay alert and you'll be fine.

    Zenmuse GH4 Owners thread

It seems easy enough to me. You can get to the SD without removing the camera, just tilt it forward. You don't need to access the connections whilst it's in the gimbal, unless you want to get the HDMI feed for review. It's only two screws to remove the camera, seems fine to me considering how...

    Zenmuse GH4 Owners thread

Yes, you can put an ND on it. And get the SD card out without moving the camera. The battery lasts for hours so no problem.

Aeronavics / Droidworx flying Skyjib 8 in -20 temperature...

Your flight time will be slightly reduced so try to keep your lipos warm to minimise loss. Why won't you have GPS signal, flying near the polar circle? (obviously cold doesn't affect GPS if that's what you're thinking)

Aeronavics / Droidworx DJI Inspire logo vs Aeronavics logo

I'm not sure, maybe post the Inspire logo instead of the battery monitor pic with Evolve written on it...

    BNUC-s vs. RPQ-s?

    Nice answer Angus! :02.47-tranquillity:

You guys that follow the camera world. When is the new GH-? Coming out?

Well, said! Why do you want a new model anyway? GH4 not good enough?

    BNUC-s vs. RPQ-s?

Hi Mark, There's so many things that can be amended by EuroUSC that they cannot be listed in a single post. It all depends on who looks at your ops manual. Just work through the template and when you're done send it in. They'll tell you what needs amending. :nevreness:

Yeah, it is cheap! You earn that back just driving to a job! :nevreness:

    New DJI Inspire 1

Ah, here's the video: https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10152397538180025 Footage looks okay. Horizon is still off as usual but it's acceptable.

    New DJI Inspire 1

Certainly looks very Sci-fi! Reminds me of Oblivion... There was a video earlier but it has disappeared now...

    zenmuse, obsolescence programme?

Not really. I use silicone lube, no idea if it is recommended or not.

    New DJI Inspire 1

Not sure, just a marketing gimmick to me. Don't Apple do this all the time? I'm sure it'll be a cool design, as most DJI things are, but will it be any good for professional work? I doubt it.

    Insurance

I do indeed. Switched from John Heath over the summer as I needed wind turbines, indoor flight and professional indemnity without paying more. £5M PL comes as standard along with 100K professional indemnity. My premium for John Heath was around £850 and with Ravenhall it is £550, and you get...

Slightly OT: Anyone else having problems with bird attacks?

I've also had many birds (mostly seagulls in the city) fly at my aircraft. Just a scare tactic and they know better than to actually hit it so I don't worry about it anymore.
