Bird attack!

Flying downtown yesterday over a big empty parking lot. Straight up to get some city shots at sunset. A bird started circling my hexa. Looked like it was coming pretty close, within a few feet. I did some evasive moves, changed altitude, but the bird kept circling.

I was so cold (29 degrees) that I decided it wasn't worth freezing and having a bird bring down my hexa, so I landed and left. I didn't want to become another YouTube sensation, showing my bird attack & subsequent crash video.

It did seem to appear right when I hit 401 feet.

It'll be fine. The birds generally don't actually hit your aircraft, they just try and scare it away. Hawks and eagles don't count though, they will attack by all accounts!
