Ah, that looks like the problem (the bit where you mention this way is not correct). Actually it is! :) You plug in and power up the phantom to the PC then install the driver (without the assistant program on). It should work then. (And maybe check what your antivirus is doing also) Let us know...

Have you balanced the Zen? I had to drop my roll bar down a bit to get it balanced and this moved the wifi button out of the way completely. It hits just the camera and not the button.

Have you updated the Zenmuse firmware to the newest one? (this should solve the rec button issue)
