KDE Direct XF UAS ESC and Flight Controller Compatibility List

FYI, similar PWM functions impact the E.T. Vector as well. I think many forget our transmitters base intent is for RC airplanes, where servos having large throw capability are frequently used to increase flight surface deflection. Any travel volume in excess of 100% is intended for driving a...

    Throttle on Pixhawk

My first flight checks use the same control response methods, but I don't hold on to it. Just set it on a flat surface and carefully go through the control throws. If his throttle is set up to use the full 150% both directions he'll have throttle problems. ESC's are usually programmed by the...

DJI Naza-M v2 Assistant not working on Windows 10

Several other brands are having similar issues with Windows 10. What I've read so far suggests people are setting up virtual versions of earlier Windows on their computers to get around it. Not a fun thing to do.

    Throttle on Pixhawk

Probably an end point issue. Set up your throttle channel end points with a low of ~1005 and high of ~1995, then re-cal your ESC's to the transmitter and see what happens.

    APM wobble in the wind.

But you're still left with the issue of wondering if your aircraft is coming back to you or heading off into the sunset.

Mostly in the hardware. I suspect that will be corrected for follow on releases. Their CS department is overwhelmed at the moment. The warranty is great but knowing in advance you have a good chance of needing it is not reassuring.

Although I don't much care for the way they've set up the flight modes I've been looking pretty hard at the Yuneec/Horizon Chroma for the reasons you describe. Choice of 1080 and 4k cameras, or a Go Pro mount if you prefer. None of the "consumer drones" have the best lens/camera quality but...

    APM wobble in the wind.

I do not. That's usually done during the ground prep and planning. I believe you can relocate a previously established waypoint but don't know about adding one.

Look through all the reference material you have about failsafes. You may have a default altitude failsafe in the form of a geo fence.

Do you have a geo fence altitude set that you've forgotten about? That's how one of mine acts when it bumps the fence.

    APM wobble in the wind.

Unless the response was extremely severe it's probably just fine. Being familiar with APM and Pixhawk flight modes, and aviation weather, I suspect the MR was simply dealing with a directional and velocity shift in winds that normally occurs at various elevations above the ground. Winds at...

    Pixhawk on X4 quad

With the understanding you've got a lot of time and effort into the Pixhawk perhaps it might be better to obtain an Eagle Tree Vector and swap the Pixhawk out. The Vector is very easy to install and set up. The down sides are it does not have waypoint and autonomous capability, yet. You've...

The SkyPan case is starting to look very, very much to another FAA witch hunt. Going back on closed cases to levy fines? http://motherboard.vice.com/read/the-sophisticated-faa-investigation-that-led-to-the-largest-drone-fine-ever http://www.scribd.com/doc/284067149/FAA-Skypan-Investigation
