    Made in USA

Thanks. Still great products though. Kits and RTF. The only serious camera ship I know is made here is the Alta.

Good luck. Steadidrone does come to mind though.

Is this a bit over the top ?

Also an instance where a <55lb UAV struck a helicopter in Afghanistan when the helicopter strayed into a supposedly sterile UAV LZ. No injuries or loss of helicopter. I won't name the UAV. Another in Germany when a UAV taxied into the side of a transport aircraft. I had a "near miss" with a...

DroneVibes Drone Giveaway Contest! What drone should we award as the prize?

Make it really good and advanced enough that a great many would want it, and spread the word of the opportunity. Yuneec H920 or DJI Matrice. For many a Typhoon H Pro or Inspire would be enough of a draw. I have the Typhoon H and it's a great flier and shoots good video. In many ways...

Attention, Hobby Flyers: Come Monday Some Of You May Need An FAA Drone Pilot Certificate

Part 107 clearly states those flying only for recreational purposes need not apply for a 107. Nowhere in their statement does it qualify the manner they are flying aside from recreational and commercial. Law is written in the literal sense so that would make it end of story.

What are your go-to sites for parts?

I highly recommend Addictive RC when he has what you need. John is also a bottomless pit for multirotor info.

Commercial Operations of sAUS in the US now Legal

The aircraft registration process under both sections 47 and 48 are legal for commercial work. So that fast and easy hobby registration you did for all your models does not have to be changed.

Check out this angry seagull. It tried to take out my Phantom.

The cockroach of the sea. I get checked out by an Osprey every now and then but nothing that aggressive.

Attention, Hobby Flyers: Come Monday Some Of You May Need An FAA Drone Pilot Certificate

I'm not sold on the mention of hobby FPV flyers being required to obtain a 107 license. The back ground check part is real and is part of the normal pilot licensing process. I'm a licensed, but not current, pilot so I have to take the aeronautical knowledge test again but that's many hundreds...

    Crutches for quadcopter arms?

They would, but I would have concerns over vibration transmission. Give them a try, worst case you change them out later.

Strapped a 3Lbs weight to the Tarot T810 I built (video)

GPS always slows a system down, it requires time to calculate position, distance, speed, and altitude. The effect of more weight on a well designed system is typically most notable in flight time. Perform some tests comparing useful flight time heavy and light using the same battery and you...

Did you update Go Pro firmware while it was disconnected? Go Pro recently did a firmware change the killed video out.

    Please help

Being hard to fly is what makes small, unsophisticated multirotors great trainers. Automated modes fail, GPS fails, when that happens those that haven't learned to fly without them crash, or experience what the believe to be a fly away, when in truth they flew it away from themselves. Headless...

    Tarot FY650 yaw problem

A few bad FET's and you can have a seriously misbehavin'' ESC. Same results with a dead pole in a motor. I already know it ain't you.

    Tarot FY650 yaw problem

Mad, I would be looking hard at an ESC on one corner that wasn't synced with the rest or not communicating correctly. If the problem is always one corner, swap ESC locations to see if the issue goes with it.

Advices about the drone to buy

Might want to look a bit closer the the Pixhawk, or if released, Pixhawk 2. Expandable. Or look to DroneCode stuff.

PHANTOM4 $200 off and new batt combo

Not really, it just indicates DJI's desperation and shows how much fat has been in the Phantom product line. Rest assured they are nowhere close to selling at a loss.
