There is a recessed button on the case that you can use a paperclip to change channels or do it through the iOSD. I have seen one report of loose antenna connectors that required a resolder. You can check that as well.
I am on channel 4 and I have a very clear picture. I am using the white DJI CP antennas. The vTx is pointed down and the vRx is pointed up on the GS. Make sure that both your Tx and Rx are on the same frequency. It sounds like you are on adjacent channels.
With the A2 you have 16 channels to play with. The limiting factor is your Tx. I am using a 8FGS and have 12 so I can map stuff to my Zen to control mode, tilt, record/shutter, and pan. That is all I need.

Bruce,
The S800 is considered PRO Gear. If you have flown a single rotor Heli before you know what a proper blade install feel like. Most guys that fly the S800 have both so for them it is not an issue. It should be tight not so tight that centrifical force cannot move them into position...
I feel your pain. I have an A2 as well. However we have no data link support right now. Neither for the prior 900mHz or the 2.4gHz or even the new 2.4gHz with BT. I would like to see both. I still have a 5 waypoint license that I paid for. Now my Naza has 16 for free and the hardware is...
I just tested my iPad mini with v6.1.3 and the first version of GS. It saved and recalled the mission along with the changes that I made when saved. I think that DJI still needs to do some work on the iOS7 optimized app.
