Did you calibrate the battery in Assistant? I agree that using a timer is the best way based on lipo usage, but many Tx's do not have the feature.

The Vision uses 5.8gHz for RC control. Neither of your 2.4gHz Tx's will work. Sorry.

Unless your F550 is one of the newer ones with the E300 propulsion system, it will be less efficient than the P2. The best upgrade you can do is to install the E300 esc's and props on your F550. You don't say whether you are using 3S or 4S lipos and what ma. I am using 2x4S 4000ma with an...

Try and connect it to assistant and see what is going on in there. If possible do the Advanced calibration and then try to do the Compass calibration. Check the Tx calibration and the function of the Mode switch. Are you getting video from your camera to your Tx based device? Wifi working...

The max pitch and roll are built into the algorithm of the controller and are not user adjustable. They are what the specs say they are for ATTI and GPS. However for flying in Manual you do not have the limitations.

I hang mine from a door frame and draw a line straight down to identify where to set the z component. The x & Y are pretty much at the center of the craft.

Have you calibrated the compass? I would try that first and see what happens.

Better be careful you may end up with a iPad or Android device and a BTU. The app is great for at the field.

The IMU's holes are stated to be for ventilation but it doesn't say what it is ventilating. Page 11 of the manual. The Baro may still be in the FC but there are no holes in it so the vent may be where the servo wires plug in.

Bart, there is a hole for air to enter for the Baro sensor. The manual states that it needs to be uncovered.

The GPS is pretty sensitive to the settings. As I add equipment, I always check my COG in ready to fly condition, and reenter them in Assistant. It never takes very long and I feel more comfortable flying. I also recalibrate my compass after every upgrade.

DJI has announced that they will be introducing non-selftightening props for the P2 and P2V. You will need the CW and CCW nuts but will be able to balance them without an adaptor.

I would lower your ATTI gains and up your P,R & Y gains. ATTI gains that high mean that the sticks will be sensitive to inputs and that is not what you want when filming.

The esc's are located under the motors.
