    GPS Jamming, threat to Mulitrotors

Yes, added to my ops manual now. The other problem is that as its military tech we can't be sure how far reaching the jamming is. It could be that you are In a border region of jamming, OK it's not too big a problem if flying a WKM in attitude mode but what about failsafe?

    GPS Jamming, threat to Mulitrotors

My thoughts where more for those that don't look out for risks and probably wouldn't even know what type of airspace they were flying in, I bet there a few who fly in their back garden and don't even know they are in danger zones let alone class D!

    GPS Jamming, threat to Mulitrotors

Just gone through a pre flight task feasibility/site survey and come across a NOTAM of great relevance "GPS jamming exercise" it warns pilots to use alt means of navigation as they may suffer intermittent/total failure or give incorrect position info. Although it's not in my intended area for...

Another Phantom Fly Away - IMPORTANT

Did you check your prop nuts? In your video you say you found the prop on the ground but no prop nut!! I would say you had a loose nut during the flight hence the instability during the flight and lack of control. This doesn’t look like a typical "Flyaway" more a loss of control, I would replace...

    Photohigher skyline rsgs

That's a very good question and one I would also like an answer to, My Syline holds horizone just fine and never had a problem in that regard with my AV200, it's just tilt jitters I can't get rid of.

    GPS on a building site

Did my BNUC-S flight test more than 200miles from my point of compass calibration with no problems at all regarding GPS/compass fix/heading. I was under the impression that you only need to calibrate your compass if you change your hardware config or add new hardware to you multi.

AR Drone or not, they are carrying out "Aerial works" delivering food that you pay them for. If a gust slams a prop into a childs eye! well what do you think that would do to our industry!

    Super G2 Ultra stabi

I totally agree, even a gopro hero 3 black can deliver 4k, albeit at a lower bit rate than say a C300, black magic or f700.

    Super G2 Ultra stabi

Looks like even those with a super G2 on a full size heli have stability problems. It was interesting to hear that they needed the 4k res to allow enough headroom to post stabi the image. Here is the video.

    Another one bites the dust...

Have been reading this story on sUAS news and the company flying the UA might have CAA permission to undertake aerial work but they need to look at the limits and regulations imposed. In the first paragraph of their web page @ http://www.skypower.co.uk/#!aerial-camera-drones/conh they claim to...
