i didn't and that's why I asked GH3 users to confirm. I was stating for sure that GH2 will not record Progressive with HDMI plugged in and that many may not be aware of this. I apologise if this was misread.

I use a GH2 with driftwood hack 77Mbps but I can tell you that as soon as you plug the HDMI in the camera will switch to it's native recording settings with interlaced footage. You might select your higher bit rate and progressive but it wont just output I frames via HDMI it will also record...

How do you get the GH2 to record progressive at 72Mbps? Is it not the case that once you plug in the HDMI to monitor your video the camera reverts to default interlaced?

What firmware version are you downgrading from? I have heard problems with downgrading from the latest FW and as I'm still on 5.04 (works best for me and less features to go wrong) I'm not sure if you can. SORRY, just looked at your 1st post, you are on 5.26 so I'm not sure how you would roll...

If green LED looks yellow then how would you know for sure that you are in attitude mode, perhaps some users have a faulty LED, it's possible as there are obviously 3 LEDs in one (RGB) if one of LEDs goes off you would get the wrong mix. Only problem with this is that yellow or amber is made up...

Just connect WKM as usual and upgrade (now a downgrade) with the new assistant, firmware is part of assistant.
