Hi Ross, thank for info, I've decided to replace the pan servo and will set up the pan in manual mode for now. Can I ask how you set up your TX to skip the dead band?

Thanks ATF, I feel like I keep adding upgrades to this thing. First it was a 3 turn pot with 72 tooth gear and 6v BEC, then pan axis compression bearing upgrade, then RSGS and now a new servo. I'm starting to see a pattern emerge. OOPS!!! nearly forgot the camera plate stiffener.

I had a similar problem on my tilt axis and after careful re-balancing of the camera and making sure the tilt belt was under good tension it's now smooth. The problem I'm having is with the pan axis, I just can't seem to stop it shaking when making small left/right yaw (on the bench, not flow...

Ross, by the way have you tried following the set up as per this video, it worked for me but you must follow it step by step. Start by default all settings, remove tilt belt and roll servo off the rollngear then follow the steps in the video.

Thanks for your reply Ross but I don't think it's wind resistance as it does it in slow flight as well, there was no wind in the test video and the problem can be seen at 2.45 when I fly slow and to the left (not forward)

I've only had my RSGS for just over a week now so can't comment on previous firmware, only 1.16 and now the 1.17 beta. Here is my latest video. I haven't had many flights but those that I did with 1.16 did have some roll drift but now with 1.17 it holds well, at least with this one test flight...

At first I had problems with the set up but if you follow the guide in this video as I did it works, just make sure you start with roll servo disengaged from the roll and the tilt belt removed from tilt gear.

Hi Dave, yes I have it. Installed and working albeit with some roll drift. I wanted the Skyline so I could use my 360 on the AV200 but as soon as I mounted the 360 servo and other bits it caused shaky footage. I didnt have tha 360 activated just the hardware installed to start with while I set...

    ESC mid point 1520us ???

Thanks Don, seems it's more to do with the signal from the TX than the ESC (as long as they are calibrated).

    ESC mid point 1520us ???

Thanks for that, however that info is not on the instruction/data sheet that came Wight the ESC and the manufacturers website doesn't list this either. It must be a very important figure as DJI have this highlighted in RED font sleep you don't miss it was never there o old WKM instructions.
