Sorry if I sound a little over competitive as I think you once put it. But when the contest veers off to having someone tormenting his dog with a stuffed sheep and making no attempt to fly the course and then have people saying that they will actually vote for it then the whole thing becomes a joke. It says CONTEST, the only prize for being crap in any other contest that I have seen is the booby prize.

Take it easy Sir :) its just a contest , in my hobble opinion the videos will by judged from voters, why you judge them in advance?
i know you make a lot of effort for you video but all of as also did.everybody with different factors, for example i work 10 hours per day this period and i have a child also .i dont have time for a great video to shoot this particular period or to practise for it.everyone make what they can do best

Friendly George.

Here is my entry. I decided I would kill 2 birds with 1 stone and make some bbq chicken while attempting to fly the course..

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
Ladies! Ladies! Ladies!
It's a contest and kudos to all of you for giving it a try and entering. I leave the rules open for interpretation because at the end of the day this is supposed to be fun and it's supposed to get us all thinking and working a bit harder on our flying. How the rules are interpreted is up to the entrant and the wiggle room lets everyone put an entry in.
But,,,,,,,if there's clearly no attempt to satisfy the basic requirements of the contest then there has to be a line drawn so as to be fair to everyone else.
Having said that, DennyR has allowed a peek into his entry and there's still 20 1/2 hours until entries close. Fly the ball!! It's brilliant and no doubt if I could enter I'd be back out there today trying his suggestion.
Think about it, flying the ball is no different than flying the heli. You're really not flying the heli, you're just telling the box what you want it to do and it's flying the heli. If you fly the ball there's just one more level of wiggle between you and control of what you're flying and that is the string. It's brilliant really for it to be so simple.

SO who's up for the challenge of re-flying their entry!

How many more tuba based compositions (or was it trombone?) can we find for background music before the contest is closed??

Stay tuned, there's lots of time left!!

See people were leaving it till the last min to post videos, some really good ones on here.
Had a few issues at home so couldn't get any time to make another attempt. good luck to every one and may the best man win....
Looking forward to the next Comp to challenge my flying :0)

Can I have one bbq chicken pls?

Cool vid...

coming right up! it's cooked with a delicious dry rub seasoning composed of dirt, dead leaves, cigarette ash thanks to the difficulty the drone had lifting the chicken off the ground. Then it gets dipped in a wonderful gourmet bbq! :highly_amused:

thanks for the kind words :)

Ok, I see some cynicism coming but please be kind as I put WAY too much time into this.

If I had a DJI Wookong, I would post plenty of videos and pictures of it as well. :)

That was great, like you say must have taken a good bit of time to put it all together.

sent from my phone using my finger.

I like the green screen effect. nice effort! Also, my dog would have loved the BBQ chicken idea.
OK guys. So, the baseball bat idea was not a hit.... new video by the books on it's way. Sorry, your gonna have to sit through another one.

Here it is. 10 foot cord. 15 foot star. start to finish. Sorry, too windy today to make a trip to the beach for better scenery. I only had two buckets, so I had to move them as I went. Just the tires were WAY easier than the buckets. First part is edited so you can watch me get each dunk. I then put the full sequence in the video at a 3x speed. I made sure to get all in one battery pack without landing. This is a great skills exercise. If you have not tried this, contest or not, I would highly suggest using it as a skill building tool. As with the last contest, this was a great way to get out and try something new with a multi-rotor. Thanks for watching! The hoverfly control board did a great job with this, but it would also be nice to try it with a WKM ;)

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
Hi Everyone,
The contest closes for new entries in about 3 hours and 20 minutes. I've been trying to keep up with new registrations so everyone can get their videos posted but I"m heading to bed now. I'll check new registrations in the morning and anyone that registered for the site before midnight will be allowed to post a video to the contest tomorrow when I can approve their membership. I nicked my knee with a chainsaw today and spent the last seven hours in an emergency room so I'm a bit worn out after a long day.
Thanks to everyone for participating, I'm looking forward to watching all the videos again and getting the voting started.
Bart
