    WKM question

Hey guys, been awhile. Haven't flown my Hexa since spring. Got involved with other things to be bothered to trace out an electrical issue, until now. To make a long story short, I ended up updating my WKM to the latest firmware. Not being involved in the firmware since 5.16 I was wondering...

WKM v1, anybody ever hera of this?

Think my imu is 'locked'. I have read where A2 has had this, connecting f1 and f2 resets it. Wondering if this does the same with v1 imu? I'm on 5.16. No response to receiver output Power from pmu is good. I haven't tried reloading firmware yet.

Let's hear form the experts on long distance transmitter and video equipment.

Distance is all about the antenna's. For uhf, the #433 is a good choice. For more distance they make a double yagi. Video antenna choice for distance requires directional antenna which will need to be 'aimed' a its target. Here's a simple equation; "distance = $$$"

    And Finally....one from (Drum roll)..West Africa !!

Yes, the motor rotation must be set correctly. This is done by swapping two of the three motor leads around. Don't matter which two. Also, both the imu and the gps puck have and arrow on them identifying forward.

    And Finally....one from (Drum roll)..West Africa !!

As the gyro's are in a unstable state on the ground all movements might not be equal. The thing to ensure, as an example, if you push the pitch forward, does it indeed try to tilt forward or off to the side. First lift off is a real scary moment. Make damn sure your transmitter to esc throttle...

    And Finally....one from (Drum roll)..West Africa !!

Assuming you have all the props rotating properly,,, at lift off, the gyro's are not stabilized. You do not want to linger at take off but 'pop' it into the air about 3 feet. Before take off, I like to wiggle the sticks, just to make sure I see it responding to the inputs to verify.

    Ground station help

It all you want is a monitor that is simple. Mount your monitor to a tripod, Velcro another receiver on back after selecting the correct channel, ( yes, it has to be a matching frequency, ImmerisonRC/Fatshark match frequencies ), Velcro on a lipo battery on the back of the monitor and you're done.
