    No confidence in my NAZA

We didn't see it fly! How does it fly? Behaviour on the ground will be odd in attitude or GPS as there's no movement to correct for and more vibration. A prop flying off is not the fault of the naza. It's pilot error (insert smiley here!). Don't be scared of it! It's just a tool.

    DJI S800 repair/service in London

Err, how much experience have you with multirotors? A DJI S800 is a large, complicated craft. How did you crash it?

    DJI S800 repair/service in London

Most things can be repaired at home (with a credit card!). As above, what's up?

Thank you! Excellent info. Actually sounds doable. Thanks for allowing a small highjack! Ben.

Newbie with a DJI 450 and Naza

Dean, these settings are almost the same as mine. The second line Attitude Gains controls the gains for the attitude pitch and roll. Okay, the first line of numbers for pitch, roll, yaw and vertical is the basic gain and determines how the Naza responds to your stick inputs. The second line...

Couple Newbie Questions / Observations from my DJI F550

Agreed. At least bullets are easy to solder!:02.47-tranquillity: 1. I have monitored the temps on the esc's and motors and they come down lukewarm on the motors and the esc's... totally cool ( I heard that 4 cell = 8 inch props... but saw many posts with guys flying 4c on the stock ones ) Just...

For all the UK BNUC-S 'Posse'

And how hard is the BNUCS? For a non-aviation guy like myself with no affiliation to a club or business? And do I understand correctly that you'd have to retake it if flying a different craft from the one you presented initially? Any material available for revision also would be appreciated...

Newbie with a DJI 450 and Naza

Why? His equipment is fine. Just needs to get through the initial learning phase. We all went through that stage. Lots of reading in your future we see...

Hi dean. The values are not changing because you haven't saved them. If values are RED it means they haven't been written to the FC. Press the WRITE button as already mentioned. Do you have the manual? Download it and work your way through from the beginning. I used a video by pitchbitchbrothers...

Newbie with a DJI 450 and Naza

Hi there, You don't use transmitter trim with an electronic flight controller (FC) as it sees it as an input. You would also have to remove it for calibration in the assistant and for setting the fail-safe Drift it usually a sign of a less than perfect setup. Some drift is normal. In ATTI mode...

Hey mate. Those gains aren't too bad. High gains induce a wobble. You could lower the last two a bit. I have them at 90%. Should stop the wobble. Don't use transmitter trim! Vinny! Unless you mean assigning a knob/switch to manually adjust gain in flight? Have you calibrated the GPS also?

First quad build - F450 battery question

More cells, more volts. The kv of motors means rotations per volt per minute (or second, can't remember). More volts, more rotations per minute. More rotations means more thrust so you can reduce the size of the blades accordingly. Cool?

    Naza HEXA Problem

Did you answer the question regarding tx calibration in the assistant software? Have you done it? How does the software respond to your tx? The only thing you haven't changed is the tx. Linear throttle curve etc?

    Power kill switch?

How would you power the power switch? Ha! Alas I don't think so. Flotation devices, location devices but no water reactive switches. That's the risk of flying over water. I think most people use the 'don't crash' method where you just don't crash. That's the easiest. Avoid flying over water...

    Multi-copter crashes into skyscraper video

It's all been said already but come on, he must have noticed straight away, why didn't he stop climbing or hit throttle hold? Awesome video though! Even smoke! I heard Team Black Sheep are in London, anyone confirm this?

Hi from London! DJI F550 Naza GPS with GoPro + Wifi Bacpac.

Hi Guys, Had a go at filming a church a few weeks ago with my wife wearing the Fatsharks giving instructions. Went okay. Just trying the same few shots over and over. Gonna try using the GoPro as an FPV cam for the fisheye view. Tests well just need to try it for real. Cheers!

    Hoverfly Carefree Mode ?

I've had a play with Home Lock on the Naza and it works but its not a substitute for flying skill. I would use it instead of RTH as you still have control but each to there own. Do not learn to fly with this feature! Asking for trouble. I wish I felt carefree when using it but I don't. I'm...
