DJI A2 PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY (New firmware may change my opinion)

That rain was unusual in good ol' blighty! :tennis: It's blowing a storm here! (I guess I should have quoted Carapau's post) Edit: Looks like we posted at the same time! One good thing about the rain, we get to spend lots of time on the forum.

    GPS Telemetry to DX18

Well all I can say is well done! You did well coping under those circumstances. I would have been shaking like a leaf if my S800 started acting on it's own. Even RTH gets me nervous. I like to be in control! (As we all do) Odd that the iOSD data shows no altitude until fly away. What about the...

I wish I had known.... F550 purchase, build and first flights..

I get very similar results also. I use 9" Graupners and get 10 minutes flying with 5000mah 4S.

    GPS Telemetry to DX18

I can't comment on the Spektrum GPS (Droider can though), but I use the TM1000 which is great. I highly recommend the DJI OSD as with the data logging function you could go through the flight and see why it flew away, well, in theory. Also, the solar activity was in the red yesterday which does...

    Micro quad as training wheels

A lot of people have a great time with the Hubsan. I've not tried it but for a very cheap orientation practise type thing it sounds good.

+1! I work for Sub20.org and the organisation seems to be going really well. They are not a training entity like ResourceUAS or EuroUSC though. We are trying to develope the current regulations to offer a better scope of operations for us operators. And promote the industry in general! You plan...

DJI released iOSD Mark II new firmware V3.0!

I like the Azimuth Angle bit. Just read about it in the manual. Quite clever depending on how accurate the compass is in detecting north.

    Panasonic GH3 Users thread

Good lord! I finally took the time to read through all the links and replies on this topic and I can't believe I have now only just learnt about Extra Tele Conversion (EX Tele Conv) or ETC as the chap in the above link calls it. Do any of you guys with GH2s actually use ETC for your videos...

DJI A2 PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY (New firmware may change my opinion)

Hi Dave, Don't take it personally. I thought Bart made a valid point, but then you make a valid point also. This looks like it will be the A2 thread for the whole forum as it's so popular so I thought Barts suggestion made sense. I just don't like lots of !!! in titles as everyone does that on...
