Lightweight Quick Release plate?

Hi guys,

Does anyone use a Quick Release plate for easily get the camera in and out of the gimbal, and to rapidly balance the tilt axis when changing lenses?
I was considering something like the Manfrotto 357 displayed bellow, but it adds 330g (0,73lbs) to the overall weight the gimbal has to "pull". Is there a more lightweight solution or I just have to keep screwing and unscrewing the camera from the gimbal each time I have to make image adjustments?

would be nice but it sure is a heavy addition. The ability to slide forward and backward easily would be nice though. They should make a light weight version.

RC Rotors and Aerial Media sells this, it’s just a few grams and works perfectly. I have it marked for a few different lenses, so it’s a matter of loosening 4 bolts sliding the piece and retightening them.

I was thinking about this also - ReallyRightStuff www.reallyrightstuff.com/s.nl/sc.26/category.618/it.C/.f has some great items that may apply - especially sliding plates for adjusting the center of gravity as SleepyC mentioned. I use this equipment for my still photography. Manfrotto is good but I like to patronize RRS; their gear is quite nice.

That is very cool for removing the camera from the gimbal. Do you know of an equally cool release plate that removes the entire gimbal to easily go from MR to hand held?

It works GREAT! 5 seconds to unclip the gimbal from the rotor.

The clips are not cheap. I think they are $200+ for the 4 clips, but they work so well.
Even if you buy them from the manuf, they are expensive!
