I use one. I was told to by ResourceUAS. It's quite easy, you just look for saturation of the control frequency. There doesn't seem to be any changes for sub 7Kg. The things it covers are what we do anyway.

If manual mode is in your ops manual then yes. Although I don't think you do for the EuroUSC flight test so I hear. I guess since you're writing your ops manual before the flight test you must be doing the BNUC-S with EuroUSC. You'll be fine then. Quick and easy test is what everyone says.

Try setting the camera to continuous mode where it takes lots of pictures in quick succession. Sometimes called burst mode. It won't actually take lots of pictures but the refresh rate will be much quicker. I had the same issue with my Panasonic GH2, it's instantaneous now.

If I ignore your budget then I would say the Zenmuse GH3 would probably carry it with minor balancing.
