5.8GHz as a control frequency in the UK.

Just thought I'd share this info for UK fliers hoping to use the Phantom Vision for commercial use. The gist of it is you can't use 5.8GHz for operating in congested areas and you can only go 150m from the pilot: SUA - use of 5.8 GHz as a Control Frequency In light of the recent issues...

Zenmuse (Z15-GH3) starts and calibrates but then drifts (and drifts)

Well, horizon aside, that test video you did looked super stable! If you plug the roll into a spare channel you can correct it, or use a camera operator. At least then you can start making videos. I was very surprised when I saw that the GH3 version doesn't roll 360°. It seems odd it can bang...

Naza MV2 programming (or lack of)

I'm still not sure why you are trying to do the motor test? It is the last thing you should do. You will need to set up everything else first. If it's still showing failsafe mode that probably accounts for the motor test not working. The sticks monitor is very important and should be working as...

Zenmuse (Z15-GH3) starts and calibrates but then drifts (and drifts)

Hey Bart, There was a post just this morning about the same issue: http://www.multirotorforums.com/showthread.php?19368-Zenmuse-GH3-problems He hasn't resolved it yet. On my Zenmuse GH2 with WKM I get those same symptoms if I haven't plugged the WKM to Zenmuse cable in. It just wanders around...

    Zenmuse H3-3D Problem

To get the assistant to recognise your controller you'll need to install the DJI driver whilst the controller is plugged in and turned on, I believe. The spinning and getting hot doesn't sound right at all. I'd check your connections again. There's always the possibility you have a faulty Zenmuse.

Naza MV2 programming (or lack of)

Hey mate, Does anything work? Rather than going straight for the motor test function try everything else first. The transmitter calibration tells you everything you need to know about your control. Do the sliders move as they are supposed to? If nothing at all is happening it is probably a...

Same as above. Been flying it all year without incident.

Manual vs Attitude Mode for Video and Carbon Blades

That's right, you can't say with 100% certainty which way it's pointing. Although I find I have a better view of the airspace around the MR when it's far away. Luckily the law doesn't mention orientation, just that you can see it unaided. As long as you can still descend out of the way of manned...

Manual vs Attitude Mode for Video and Carbon Blades

I find I'm often 500m out. The first time I did it I was scared as hell, but then had to it again the next two days running. These were some of the photos I got that first time, I had to encompass an entire 60 acre solar power plant, well, three different 60 acre plants:

Manual vs Attitude Mode for Video and Carbon Blades

I personally never fly in Manual mode professionally. When you're at the limit of 500m away and 400ft up it's nigh on impossible to gauge orientation accurately. I totally reply on GPS to hold it there to be honest.

My F550 turn off in the air and crash

As above, you have the throttle cutoff set to immediately. Even in intelligent the motors will shut down after 3 seconds if you put the throttle down all the way. Don't put the throttle down all the way in the future. :nevreness:

NAZA U port is bound to the throttle not 3 position switch!!!! HELP

That's because you're in HELI mode. In heli mode the throttle and pitch (Aux1?) work together. Try airplane mode.
