Crashed my F550 today. 4 arms and 5 Graupner props It was my fault in that I did not properly bind my Tx, Dx8, to my Rx, AR8000. The receiver bound but the satellite did not. Crass and burn. Sorry about your crash.

Yes it could have been a better day, but I was using Graupners on the F550 and the F450. Sometimes it happens. Not a DJI problem, just mine Oh Well....

It was not my best day flying. I trashed my F550. Four broken arms and 5 lost Graupner props. The good news is that all the electronics seem to work. This is great since it did an inverted landing from 60' up. I also had a prop come off on my F450. Not usual but kinda expected. Replaced...

I use a second warning of 3.3v per cell. So for a 3S, I am at 9.9v and for a 4S, I am at 13.2v. Since this is under load the actual voltage is slightly higher. i end up putting back about 80% into the lipo. I also use a timer on my Tx to be safe. When the timer goes off, I know it is time...

Have you noticed the sliders on the Tx calibration screen moving slightly? Mine started with a slight movement then it got worse. I ended up having to send it into Horizon Hobby to have the software updated. You may want to check on the recall/service update for the Dx8.

First off what controller are you using. If you are using a Naza then the answer with altitude hold is to have it in ATTI mode. It should hover at 50% throttle. There is no compass on the Naza therefore no heading hold. If you are using something else let us know.

You didn't say what kind of radio equipment you are using, but I would go back and check you end point adjustment for the three position switch. Make sure that it is in the center of the blue highlighted area. If you are getting any frequency drift from your Tx or Rx is may be possible that...

Was the AR8000 flashing indicating that you lost Tx signal? Since you had the AR8000 did you set it up for preset failsafe? If so, the Naza should have just landed on LOS. One last question how do you have your receiver and satellite mounted on your F450? Could you show us a picture? Thanks.

What I have works for me and looks like it does for Kloner as well. I can't tell you since I don't own the Dominator. I figure that two sets of FPV goggles is my limit.

I am running 8" Graupners. I got an inexpensive drill press and a step drill from Harbor Freight and bored them out to 8mm. They work great but they are expensive.

I will bump mine up to 200 for basic and 160 for ATTI in the wind.

That would be nice to get it next week, but my guess is that nothing will ship until after NAB. We should be seeing stuff appear toward the end of the month. Just my 2 cents.
