Read the manual. It states that the throttle needs to be above 10%. If you loose the signal, do you want to have the throttle to go to Zero and have the motors disarm? I hope you don't have an emergency and really have to use it.

Did you set up preset failsafe in your receiver? If not, it won't work. TH above 10%, Failsafe activated and bound. Check your RC manual for specifics to your gear.

If you are taking off in ATTI or ATTI/GPS the Naza sets the hover point at 50% so you will need more than that to take off. If you want to see where your actual throttle position is in take off switch to Manual mode. Most people have to adjust their throttle curve in Manual so there is no rise...

When you switch to Course Lock in either ATTI or ATTI/GPS are you getting the yellow and green flashes? Check pg 38 of the manual. it seems that your compass is not calibrated. Without that, you cannot use IOC.

DJI is also working on a splitter for the 2.4 gHz.

The simple solution is to mod your throttle curve so the switch from manual to ATTI or GPS/ATTI is seamless. Your craft goes up when you engage ATTI then raise the curve which will lower the stick. You will have to play with it to get it right.

Kloner, I got my step drill at Harbor Freight along with a 6 speed drill press for $80. I have the drill press set up to stop on the proper diameter and I can do 10 props in less than 5 minutes. You are right, if you don't mess with the bottom cast hole they fit perfectly.

Have you ever just set it outside connected and waited until you get GPS lock. There is a backup battery in the GPS, if it looses charge, the GPS looses the last position. It took close to an hour to get GPS lock for mine the first time.

I agree. Get the 11's off and try either 10's or 9's with your set up. I don't like mine with 10's and fly with 8's, but I am not hauling around the weight that you are.

Not sure. I fly my F450 on 10" Graupners on 3S. It performs well in the wind. It is sufficient for a GoPro with a dedicated FPV camera, EagleTree OSD with GPS and eLogger, and a vTx. My vTx is powered off a separate 1000mAh 3S.

Smaller props definitely improves wind performance. In the wind, my F550 on 10" is not sufficiently stable for an A/P platform. With 8" props on 4S it is a different machine. I will say my stuff is all DJI. I have some SimonK flashed escs that I have yet to try.
