Six Superiorities of DJI S800 Retractable Landing Skid

When have they not supported users? Was there not a recall of the GPS units for the Southern Hemisphere? Did they not replace the esc's on the S800's and the MC's for the WKM's? How about the SOD mod for the iOSD that provided support for multiple cameras. Forgive me if I forgot some of the...

Six Superiorities of DJI S800 Retractable Landing Skid

I think that they need some of their English speaking employees to edit their promotional videos and texts before they go out. I am sure it is a translation error. It is like the WIKI, way too much chinglish. That is being corrected.

    Man that's tight.....S800

I do and it works very well. Mine is set up for two person operation so the camera guy has the OSD info through the goggles. If there is a problem, he can tell me. I am flying LOS so for the most part I don't care.

My iOSD does not work as it should with my Sony CX730 but it works with my Canon G11

Yes that was me. You are right it was the connector between the GCU and the iOSD so it would not apply to you. I just got the SAO as well and have not had a chance to play with it yet. I think that there were a few post over on RCG in the Z15 thread about how to connect it up. There was some...

    Man that's tight.....S800

I have mine mounted on two bridges between the LG frame. I have one receiver mounted on M3 arm and the other mounted on M6 arm with the satellite on the leg. The vTx is mounted on a leg. This was the mounting point that DJI has used on several of their demos. Here is a picture that may help you.

My iOSD does not work as it should with my Sony CX730 but it works with my Canon G11

They have an adapter that fits between the camera and iOSD for cameras that have issues. I would check with your dealer. I just got one last week.

How exactly does POI (Point Of Interest) work?

Fly to the POI. Trigger the IOC switch 3-5 times between Course Lock and POI, I am using Control 2. The led will flash green rapidly. POI has now been recorded. Move the IOC switch to POI. The craft should then rotate to face the POI. At this point fly out the distance from the POI that you...

No they are 8" in white. You are right you have to replace the entire monocoque.

    DJI Phantom Video

Wait until the users start posting their onboard videos and ground shots. Geoff did that and several others have as well. This is a game changer for the newbe's. It could expand our user base by the thousands. In the US, MR's are still not welcomed at many AMA fields. I am not sure how long...

    DJI Phantom Video

Ok, I can say a few things now. It is a monocoque construction. The esc's are mounted inside the arms and pull dual duty and power the leds as well. All connections are soldered. There is a PPM Rx on a separate board and a power distribution board that a standard, at least it appears to be a...

    DJI Sep up advise

The gear you listed will take you far. What flight experience do you have? I ask this because the DJI gear can create a degree of confidence that may not be justified based on flight experience and build experience. I am just trying to save you some headaches.

Here ia the response I from DJI. "For mild 3D, you can switch modes and it will stab itself. But when you switch, make sure sticks are centered. For Fierce 3D, must wait for a while then switch".
