Product Review - Fold N' Fly Quad

No I don't have a HFP, unless someone wants to donate one to MRF. If you do, Bart would be happy to talk to you. I do have my Naza's with GPS and a new in the box CC3D. I thought I would try both. I haven't been flying my F450 recently and I may move everything over the Fold N' Fly for the...

Cool, Las Vegas could be a good site, we could all go out and fly around Area 51.

Product Review - Fold N' Fly Quad

I would like to thank Bart and Ken aka RTRyder for the opportunity to do a review for the MultiRotorForums. IrisAeral is sending me one of their foldable quadcopters the Fold N' Fly with an optional case. The case is capable of containing a FPV monitor, another option that they are willing to...

Soldering S800 ESC and Motor to new DJI arms HARD landing...

You can use a regular soldering iron to solder the leads in the arm to the esc. Just cut the wires short enough to make the crosses. Only remove enough of the varnish to solder to the pads.

Having Difficulty with Naza-M GPS Calibration

If the calibration failed then he would not have been able to fly in ATTI successfully. The black out of the left side of the Naza is still up for debate. Some experience the issue, some do not.

    CBS Sunday Morning interview

Unfortunately, there were no opportunities to defend our hobby. Am I surprised, not. The liberal media does not want us to have any fun unless it is at the conservatives expense. Maybe we should fly over Bainer's home that would get them in the fold.

Help needed for Zenmuse & Nex 5R

I just got a new Z15 for my Nex5N and it included a V2 HDMI converter. The Aux3 channel will do the video switch.

Having Difficulty with Naza-M GPS Calibration

You are calibrating the compass not the GPS. If you can fly in ATTI mode you were successful if you have no red flashes then engage GPS.

Help needed for Zenmuse & Nex 5R

I crashed and destroyed my Nex5N and was able to pick up a replacement on eBay for $600 with both lenses, 3 batteries and a 16gm 10 memory card. I was happy.

Help needed for Zenmuse & Nex 5R

It is my understanding the the "N" and the "R" are interchangeable. The Z15 is balanced for the 16mm pancake lens.

Help needed for Zenmuse & Nex 5R

I have not. I got the new Zen and another S800 on Friday. I am planing to put it together this weekend. My Nex5n will not be here until Monday so you will probably know before me.

Here is what mine looks like. Also the release notes say the following; Video recording is available for Z15-N gimbal (AUX3).

Help needed for Zenmuse & Nex 5R

I just sent an email to DJI asking the same question. I have a new S800 and Zen arriving today. I assumed the new Zen's would be equipped with the HDMI II but now I don't know. The II are only a $35 upgrade so not a deal killer in my opinion.

Help needed for Zenmuse & Nex 5R

To use a switch to control video recording requires the HDMI II. The HDMI I will only allow shutter control. They are not expensive to upgrade.
