At this point they both use the same GS PC based program. I still have my 900mHz data link and for distance it cannot be beat. However for ease of use, I vote for the 2.4gHz unit with BT and my iPad mini.

Teecee, That is very bizarre. I am not sure if it is an esc problem or a controller issue. My guess based on your comment that this does not occur with the gimbal and camera on, it is a load issue for the esc's. I may be wrong but since I have no experience with the Maytechs or the motors...

I only use one lipo to power everything. I have a video downlink with mine and iOSD so I can monitor voltage. Yes I probably get slightly lower flight times but I only have one lipo to monitor.

I don't think the GCU cares what it outputs to. You are only doing video and ground. The Immersion can take up to 6S lipo power.

Dave, Mine is in the process of moving to my S800. I was a JR guy but flying DJI stuff it is hard to stay there. I have never been able to get more than 8 channels on my satellite set up.

If you are using DSM2 satellites then it works but only gives you 8 channels. I have tried it. So have others on the forums. That being said, I still prefer my Futaba.

The vTx does not power back to the GCU. There are other issues in your set up. I use the Immersion 600mw and the DJI vTx neither have cause that problem with either of my two H3-2D's have experienced your issues.

If you are using the DS16 internal Rx you do not have to set up RTH on signal loss. It does it internally. To trigger RTH you can map a channel in the Tx.

That is not with the stock Lightbridge. I have not even seen the patch antenna let alone have one operating.
