You are correct the mission is loaded into the controller. if connection is lost the mission will continue until completed or you cancel it by switching out of GPS on your Tx.

Dave, I was a JR guy for years and finally went to the Dark Side as well on both my RC system and from MK to DJI. I just wished I would have purchased a 14SG instead of the 8FGS. Not a big difference but there is some. SBUS2 and telemetry is the other.

You got a quick wiring diagram on that. It is hard to visualize what you are trying to do. I assume that you are hard mounting the GoPro and using the USB output. Are you connecting the iOSD mini to the Can Bus?
