I had no luck with the 64 bit version. But it works ok on my 64 bit laptop with the 32 bit version.

If it was a crash it could be that the wire tracks on the tilt have jumped a groove.

    Zenmuse repair

As the Zenmuse is a modular design where all of the parts can be changed without too much hassle. Why cant anybody get the spare parts. The balancing and calibration is not rocket science.

    Zenmuse repair

Yes thats right on. You cant get spares or service. The only people who could repair it are the factory. Try talking to Abby Lui. its like talking to the wall. She has done more harm to that company than anybody. Try getting a dealer to send it back as this is your only hope. When I approached...

    Zenmuse Vibration Issues

Flickering is normally sun hitting the front of the lens through the prop. Vibration can be many things related to the motor/prop.

New Align 800 cameraship - Needs some work!

Yep this is what I am currently using: Motor is a Pyro 700-52 with 13t pinion plus a kontronics 120 heli set to mode-6 The blades are 710 asymmetric Spinblades 95 mm tail blades and the headspeed in Idle-up 1 is 1450 and -2 is about 1600. sometimes I run a bit faster if it is very windy. Normal...

DJI Zenmuse has no value anymore.

The two top contenders are Autoquad-6 and Zero UAV-Y6 and if you can get one, then my choice would be the Russia one from Vickor DJI obviously know that failures are good for business.

How is V3 TAPR by Martinez Brushless controller different from Alexmos controller?

Good point, I wonder if they cracked the Bootloader and stole the code or maybe it's just another unsupported chinese copy.

DJI Zenmuse has no value anymore.

The DJI Zenmuse may have set the bar higher in terms of stability last year but that has now changed. Several brushless gimbals have shown that they can achieve the same level of stability without all of the stupid quirks like not being able to turn the camera ON and OFF in the field without the...

    My brushless gimbal result

Yeah its heavy but that TDR can lift anything...... This one is more like a MR mount. It's another one arm bandit. I've had this thing for a few years and its one of my best platforms. Everyone should try one of these. This one started life as a very hot 2 meter carbon Blade. A record breaking...

    My brushless gimbal result

Here's a 3 axis one I made for the 550D. The lens is a Tilt and Shift 24mm. If you are working for an architect, the worst thing you can show him is bent verticals. It is an exceptional lens but a little pricey. I have come up with a solution for cogging artifacts. Do away with the iron stator...

Octocopter at the Arnold Palmer Invitational 2013

If you are shooting on a film set with professional stunt men (street runners etc.) they know the risk and they are paid to do the job they decided to do. There is no public liability involved as the film company take care of that. If you shoot a construction site with the permission of the...

Octocopter at the Arnold Palmer Invitational 2013

When ever I have flown Major golf tournaments with full size helicopters for course CGI it has to be done when the course is empty of people and carried out with an AOC license and special permission. No pro golfer would allow the noise from that MR during practice.

No personal experience but the gimbal looks to be quite good for a servo drive.

Want a capable heavy lift Okto

I saw this coming a couple of years ago so I don't keep much money here. The problem is that the cash points are somewhat overcrowded at the moment.

Want a capable heavy lift Okto

I have not tried one of these but it looks like good value for money if you want to lift a DSLR. Tarot is a relatively new kid on the block and they seem to have some interesting stuff.http://www.infinity-hobby.com/main/product_info.php?products_id=9415&osCsid=1947cf661d99557ba12d64361d28daa3 I...

SkyJib Octocopter for Filmmaking with RED Epic

The only way to lift that kind of weight reliably is with a SR heli and a team of experts. I can see no good reason for using any kind of MR. The cheapest platform would be a 800 size Align Trecker Heli with a Tarot IMU. 14s battery. Then get some experts to fly it.

S800 motor has got the shakes...

Sometimes it is not the bearings but it is the windings that are not all fully connected as they are wound with multiple strands. Check the resistance across two phases.

Dear DJI, you've got a problem

Well said Bart. But please add to that. Customers who paid a lot of money for the Zenmuse gimbal are probably not yet aware that there is no service facility for the repair of this product should it ever be needed. So what do we do? We cannot get parts or information from dealers.

    DJI Customer Video Showcase

As WiFi is going to be a part of the next generation of high performance cameras I hope that DJI will sort this out sooner rather than the usual.
