    hexacopter help

No, I'm definitely not sure. But figured I'd let you know that it's worth keeping an eye on. They have been problematic - so just be aware that it's possible. Typically it manifests itself by making the ESCs unhappy. Probably not your issue here, but you never know. If one motor is acting...

    hexacopter help

It could be intermittent ESCs or motors. There have been reports of the intrrnal PDB being a little flaky. I never had an issue with the Naza, but I did have issues with my superX on that frame using the internal PDB. Seems the copper runs are not equal in length, and that can cause issues...

    Defy G2X

Are they offering the gear to swap it to a flight gimbal? I saw a bit about this yesterday - but it was focussed on a handheld version. Seems gimbals are taking over NAB.....

You are going to need to provide more info and specifics. You mention the Naza works perfectly, was it on on another vehicle???? When does the flip happen? Immediately or after a bit of flignt time? Are you using the internal PDB?

3DR, the interview they might like to take back

Oh good grief. Just what we need, more selfies. :)

Product Review: TTRobotix Super Hornet ARF

I'm not sure what "highness carbon" is (SIRI???), but I would say the CF is good quality (although not 2mm walled) and the plastic actually stands up to some heavy tool torque at least. Haven't crashed it yet to test its impact resistance :) It also seems the center plates on the super hornet...

Product Review: TTRobotix Super Hornet ARF

This frame is very similar to the Sky Hero, as far as I can tell from online only research. Unfortunately, I don't have one to compare and contrast. I will say that I did not have the issues with installing the ESCs into the booms like I read so much about with the Sky Hero.

And what is a "droney" that they keep mentioning????

    Gimble Controller

Unfortunately none of these actually work perfectly out of the box. In my experience, even the more expensive gimbals/controllers need some fine tuning. Best to follow Sleepy's advice and get the alexmos GUI going - and get familiar with it. That's if it's an alexmos board. The drivers can...

    FAA Admits They Shouldn't Be.....

Compared to what the atmosphere felt like not even a year ago, these sensible moves being made (or forced) feel leaps and bounds more appropriate.

2015 NAB News: Blackmagic Micro Cinema Cam, Tiny, Drone-Specific Super16 RAW Camera

This definitely seems like a really nice option. Curious to see what becomes of it. Hopefully someone here will get some real world testing with it.

Product Review: TTRobotix Super Hornet ARF

Here are a few shots of the Super Hornet X650 frame in the folded position. The frame measures in at approximately 27" long by 15" wide when folded. Swapping the props out for some that would accept the quick-release prop adapters could cut the size down even more. Note the locking...

Product Review: TTRobotix Super Hornet ARF

I think this introductory offer makes this a very compelling option for anyone looking for a neat, compact foldable frame. Should have some flight tests done by mid-week and posted immediately afterwards. Stay tuned....

Product Review: TTRobotix Super Hornet ARF

I think I would need to fab a mount for it. Unless there is an included accessory that would interface with the battery tray. Be interesting to see how this TTRobotix gimbal stacks up against the H3-3D.

    x8 650 vs 720 vs 850

Damn. Well, at least you seemed to have it all sorted now. Hopefully the rest of the week will be nice and you'll get some good testing in.

New member, first build. Could use some advice.

Sounds like you took the right kind of step back. Having fun always trumps stressing. :) So hopefully you can come back to the APM with a fresh perspective.

Damn! I figure 520mm would be plenty clearance. Which gimbal???
