DJI Naza M Lite Setup Confusion / Problems

The yellow light does typically mean that there is an issue with the connection/bind between FC and Rx. Have you checked that you have configured the type of Rx connection correctly in assistant (sbus vs standard etc)? There is some slow blinking that happens in the beginning when it warms up...

Totally understandable that you'd be frustrated. But taking a break, stepping back and taking a breather is good practice. Typically you hit the problem with a fresh outlook and things come together smoother after a little break. It certainly does for me. I'm sure it's the same way with your...

Great info. Thanks. I had planned on staying in Stabilize for the maiden anyway. But it's good to know how everything is working for future flights. I'll check the vibe reading after the maiden to see where I'm at. Appreciate the clarification.

Dazzub!!! Finally some expert advice! :). I'm new to this APM stuff too - so my suggestions have been based solely on my research. Just for clarification, is the vibration less critical in any particular flight mode? Or more specifically, which mode do you suggest using to hover in order...

Another thing I just thought of... If you are doing PID tuning - I think you'll want to do the basic tuning in "manual" mode. All you need to do is hover and move slight amounts for tuning - so no biggie.

Gotcha. The GPS (and therefore RTL) is going to need for the MR to sit outside and take hold of the satellites before you do anything. You need to power up the MR and let it sit for a bit. You should see on mission planner that you have lock (and there are lights on the bottom of the GPS...

OK, first: If it kicked into RTL why would it take off away from you? Did you launch from somewhere other than where you were standing when it went haywire? If RTL engages - it should be returning to the initial launch position, as long as you waited for it to get GPS lock. Batteries: how...

For the compass, Have you done the "live" calibration in mission planner? Where you spin it and fill up the globe with dots? The GPS is definitely not going to work well indoors. I'm using an older model with no compass - it caught some signal sitting right in the window once. Otherwise you...

That's pretty sweet. They're great when you have them working well. But it takes tweaking for sure.

Sounds good. Questions are what will help get you to the next level - and with the collective experience of the members here, you'll be on your way in no time. Make sure to post some pics of your 3D printed parts when you get a chance.

Hey there! Welcome to the forum. Looks like you're off to a good start, and have a feel for the controls from your time with the smaller MRs. I just got a 3D printer going as well. Seems there is a crossover between the hobbies. And having the printer definitely allows for making parts...

DJI put me in business, and is taking me out...

Have to agree with Maxwell. This happens in so many industries. I went through this with audio recording, having owned/operated a professional, commercial studio for 15 years, we saw our bookings plummet when home recording became available in a single trip to guitar center. Everyone fancies...

Product Review: Paralinx Triton 1:1 Wireless HD Video TX/RX System

Great review Sleepy! Seems the big hurdle is companies coming up with their own proprietary tech to transmit data rates/size as large as HD produces. I've research a bunch after being amazed by the output during MotoGP races with incredible footage from up to 3 cameras on probably 10 different...
