I can't vouch for the 9-16 except the fact the manual i linked is that rx..... and i've setup alot of discos using sbus and ch8 on the pwm on that exact rx,,,, never needed more than 8 ch.... my money is it will work, try a servo on the 9-16 outputs and program the radio to transmit 9-16 on...
