at this point you want the 3+, if you wait a couple months hero4 will be available at the same price point with a ton more features including 4k 30fps.... 1080 120fps, etc.

I ran the 3520 for over 100 flights with no issues, rig was easily tuned.... all i swapped was the motors to high pole count and they went to this whatever they call it. it also would not tune, wobbliest multi i've ever seen and all i was trying to do was hover in a breeze.... plush in...

I was on the a-10,,,, i had sent raw footage of this, hero2, nex-5 to a guy that does video compression for a living, he analyzed it and presented the findings. forget where the link to it was from here, but the compression sony used on those models was horribly invasive. i'd hazard to guess it...

not ppm, pwm as in each wire from you rx that would goto the sbuss adapter can just plugin to a2 pwm style (8 servo wires form rx to fc) DJI calls it traditional mode the main advantage to sbuss/dbuss is the ability to send more than 8 channels into it.... and being one wire, none the less to...

for the money, the sony action cams didn't give me very good results. there ios didn't do anything, the footage has a lot of artifact, when it should look blurry, it made chunky pieces of artifact like a low mp camera would.... to me the hero is well worth the extra money unless you just don't...

why wouldn't you just hook it up pwm once you already have all the wires coming out of the rx? sounds to me like an additional failure point

kde is going to offer esc's good to 8s very soon. I am currently running the same exact esc's from altitude with the same exact motors as you Roo..... What are you doing to see this loss of sync? Earlier in this thread i had mentioned those exact exc's with these exact motors and the answer was...

I was just looking at data to see what the thrust was and what shoulda happened. the AUW was 12,700 grams, according to the motor data each motor has 4,620 grams of thrust, times 6 is 27,720, 5 motors would be 23,100, 4 motors would be 18,480...... it wasn't like the rig didn't have the power to...
