Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
The fine people at Droidworx have been working on a few new designs as well as a website update. They've asked if they could have a vendor forum here at MultiRotorForums.com that could serve as their official customer support forum. As our first advertiser and the sponsor of our first contest I naturally had to say "Yes!".

Welcome!

A big thank you to Linda and Rob at Droidworx for their support.

Thank you Bart! We couldn't think of a better meeting space to connect up with our customers and other multirotor enthusiasts. Multirotorforums.com has from the beginning been a wealth of information and inspiration, ran and maintained by fair and kind enthusiasts - many thanks to you all...

As Bart said we have launched our new website and product portfolio. We have been working non-stop on this complete Droidworx-overhaul for the past 9+ months so are excited to present you our new 'babies'. Just over two years ago we were the first to present professional grade airframe solutions to the multirotor-market. Little did we know how this market would - literally- take off. We are passionate about the incredible potential this phenomenon has on offer and have endeavored to bring yet another whole new level to the table.

Goals have been further performance improvement through advanced vibration dampening technology and increased usability through easy pack-down travel solutions. And of course it had to look good! We're artists at heart and beauty of design is also high on our list.

So far this introduction - we invite you all to come and visit us on our site and to connect up with us and each other via this forum space. Droider Dave will take the role as moderator - thank you Dave!

Again - many thanks Bart for your great support and to all who have been and are instrumental in further professionalizing this industry.

Cheers and best regards!

Linda and the rest of the Droidworx team.

Hi everyone. As most of you know I have been involved with this forum from the start. I have also been a huge fan of DroidWorx since I found them accidentally a couple of years ago through a web search for my own company which also ends Worx.

Any how I hope I can do a good job on here as moderator and help our members and Linda and Rob build a support network second to none.

Bring it on and good luck to DW with there new babies..

Are you planning a conversion kit of some type to carry the Zenmuse? Lots of complaints with the SW800 flexing too much..... I think you make a great product that would work great with that gimbal.

Same question from my side. Would be very interested in a XMR setup with a Zenmuse.

Thanks

Welcome Droidworx. What a nice fresh new website you have, and some really great new frames. Those boom nacelles are just so awesome looking. I know they have a function, but looks are important when we're out showing off in front of a crowd of interested people. 10/10 for looks on the XM's.

As far as I know at the moment there is no mounting/conversion.

This Forum is to get feed back of what customers want. I will be compiling a report each week and submit it for comment by DW.

This subject is on my list with the number of people posting about it.

Hi guys!! This is great! It's like hanging out with mates! Thanks for the warm welcome... Seeing many familiar 'faces' - brilliant!

Geoff - thanks! Fully agree - this is a great space. We're in close touch anyway of course but good to meet you here too! Looking forward to more of it and to seeing you again soon... we have some plans to make! Caju - you too - great to meet you here. Ross & Kirsty - was already lovely to see you again in your competition entry but good to see your note! Hope you're well... Jake - you're most welcome...! We were happy to make a contribution - compared to Dave's efforts a meager one but nevertheless happy to have played a part. Benjamin - thanks and thanks too for your great entry for the competition! Boris, Darin, Nic, meme (have we met before meme?) and Dave of course - thanks to you all...! I'm probably supposed to keep it short but just wanted to touch quickly on your welcome notes...

Re. Zenmuse adaptor - we're actually working on it. We've been asked by many to make an adaptor so we will. DJI is providing us with all info we need - waiting for the gimbal to arrive. Give it a month or so and we should have something designed. PhotoHigher is working too on direct drive versions of the AV-series gimbals which will be a bit more flexible re. camera types - some cool stuff in the pipeline from these guys!

The brackets Kangaroo Nic (hi Nic!) pointed out are made by Mark Dana and fit the AD-series craft and also the new VM models. Mark's been making some great additions to our frames with our full support. The gear rail assembly of the XM is different though so we need to find another solution for that. Will be keeping you posted...

Cheers guys!

Kangaroo Nic? Hehe, no problem Linda, just don't blame me for the possums. My last visit to NZ had me explaining myself to the host at a B&B in Waitomo about the possums problem you have. Apparently an Aussie bought them over? :D
Great to have you on board.

Hey guys... I'm happy to represent the forum with an impartial visit to the factory one day (I'm 30 minutes away) ;)

I suspect a VM-6 may be finding my shed in the next month or so... :nevreness:

It is great to see DW here on the forum. Keep it up Rob + Linda... you are almost Kiwis now!
