Need battery suggestion for a F550

Was doing some research on this today, here is what I have found:

Beast DNA 5200MAH 3S 35C 442g $48.47
Beast DNA 6000MAH 3S 30C 461g $53.44
Turnigy Nano 5000mAh 3s 35c 409g $59.90
Hyperoin 5400mAh 3s 35c 459g $98.95

The 5200mAh Beast DNA appears to do the trick, balancing weight, capacity, discharge rate, and price point. My setup: DJI F550 Stock, DJI Naza GPS right now I am getting 9 minute hover times on a 2600 3s 35c China battery with a 10.5 volt initial cut off, and a 10.25 volt secondary cut off. Any thoughts on off brand batteries? Is there *really* that much of a difference?

I ended up ordering one of each to test.

1x Beast DNA 5200MAH 3S 35C 442g $48.47
1x Beast DNA 6000MAH 3S 30C 461g $53.44

Doubtful I will be able to tell much difference between 30c and 35c...

2 batteries?

Hello,

New F550 owner, this thread was very helpful. Does anyone have any updates to the suggestions? I found Venom 35C 5000mAh 11.0 LIPO on Amazon for ~60 bucks shipped, I think this meets the spec for a dual battery configuration.

And to that note, are there any suggestions on connecting the batteries? If I connect in parallel, do I need to do anything special for the small connector to report voltage accurately?

Thanks in advance, looking forward to my first flight soon!

No you need nothing for it to report the votage. How ever always check them both before take off. If 1 is 12.4 and 1 is say 11.9 they will drain into each other and cause a problem. I fly 1 6000 with a 35c works fine 2 is to heavy though. Price wise 1 6000 is cheaper then 2 3000. It's also 150g less weight.

I'm doing 4s not 3... Gimbal runs off the 4s off the balance lead.
