They just don't have long enough screws in the m3 sizes.

It would be nice to have the option to use the mag compass in AL or not. I was able to do the flight in manual, but prefer to fly using AL, and the only way to accomplish this would be to unplug the gps board..
Just a little note of caution.
I had this experience a week ago at a site where I was getting "power surges" and a corresponding un-commanded yaw of about 30-60 degrees. It would happen at take-off and also during flight, only affecting yaw.

Any info on the external MAG? While I am flying with the board attached, I am not using the GPS functions.
George, Will the external magnetometer feature require a new GPS board or hardware modification?
