If you can afford the Zenmuse then thats probably the way to go , but of course it will depend on what camera your wanting to carry.

I just had a notification about my order. DJI have requested to know what lens will be fitted to the Nex-7. Only fixed focal lengths can be used apparently. I am not sure if this is for balancing the gimbal or if it could be some sort of optimised gyro PID setting. Anyone know about this?

Boris,

Did you get replacement props and, if so, how long did it take to get them?

thanks Red, i found several that i could try, ( the foxtech ones i wasn't aware of yet) but i want to try it out with the original DJI made props first. If something is not the way its suppose to be it will be blamed on the props and than i have to run for the originals again anyways.

Hello

very very impressive the Zenmuse

S800

I noticed that the plate of the contollers was very hot after 12 minutes of flight.

I dismount and see if I could improve the aeration of controller.

I discovered that the electronics plate was completely covered with a gel to make it waterproof and this is the reason for the heating !!!

I'll do a test by adding washers on the engine support for aeration to see, because I did not intend to fly in the rain ...

just by my hand i think 50 or 60 °C

I took the next flight measurement with an infrared thermometer

I'm very excited, Robert notified me this morning that my S800 I pre ordered is shipping out today and I might see it Saturday.
I hope that I can afford batteries for it now. I for sure can't afford a gimbal for it for a while so hopefully I make figure out a way to attach my NEX5n to it somehow until more cash comes in

Anyone want to buy my brand new F550/WKM/Aeroxcraft gear and 4 Turnigy 5000mah 4s batteries and 12 NIB 10" Graupners.
I only got to hover this thing in the backyard for 2 batteries so far.

Just picked up a shiny aluminum case... Very cool. The S800 dwarfs my Multiwii Ysix! Great looking quality. Now I need to pull the Wookong out of the YSix and into the S800. I was thinking of replacing WKM in the YSix with an APM2.0. Anyone tried one of these? I have it sitting on my bench so I though I'd try it before buying something else like a Naza.

Well you have the zenmuse with
Weight880g (Without UBEC, HDMI-AV module)
Than A nex5 for example with a pancake lens:

Weight (Approx.) : Approx. 8.1 oz (229g) (excl battery & media) Approx. 10.1 oz (287g) (w/battery & media)

Zippy 6s 8000 may Weight: 1220g (including wire, plug & case)

So with out the lens and with out additional 2000 mah weight etc. You are around 2387g. So 2.5kg probably possible.
