    WARNING - Firmware 5.24

Guess what, Dave. This problem appears to be position based. As stated earlier, I've been flying 5.24 for the last 4 weeks or so, and never had it drop out of GPS. This week I flew down to Costa Rica for some projects, and right off the bat, on my first flight it dropped out of GPS 60% of the...

DJI Zenmuse H3-2D Gimbal for GoPro.

Ghiro, did you read all the follow-up messages on that subject? There are several other ways to trigger Return To Home. Personally, I have no clue why DJI added this control when they already had other ways to invoke RTH.

That is SOOOO sweet! Not too many chances for stuff like that!

Things They Do Not Tell You

Chris, I think you may be misunderstanding what we are wanting you to do with the Assistant Software. Using the Tx won't change things on your screen. You still need to use your mouse to navigate to the screen. So back to the screen you captured and posted, the one that says "NAZA-M V2", and...

Dmitry, nice job! The thing I liked most was that you were able to blend in Moscow prominent landmarks along with capturing the marathon itself.

    Want more air time

Bensid, we may not be talking apples to apples here. When I read Farrealm's information I had to assume he doesn't have any landing gear or gimbal or OSD or anything to get that kind of time, which is possible, just on a basic MR setup. Your numbers seem more reasonable for an F450 with landing...

    s800 with gopro zenmuse?

Would totally depend on what batteries you are planning on using. For 10000mah, probably in the 12-15 mins.

S800 EVO, S800, and DJI, Thoughts on Performance and Support

Patrick, You are totally right that the forums seem to be flooded with the bad news side of stuff. As you stated, I think it's because those of us that have had great DJI experiences don't take the time to post about it. I am one that have been tired of people saying "I won't buy DJI because...

Records home position but crashes to the ground :(

What DJI meant by 10% was 10% of total throttle travel, i.e. 10% of throttle. On my Futaba, since total travel is -100 to +100, that would mean >20 on that scale. My Futaba setting ends up at -50, which is 25% throttle.

DJI Zenmuse H3-2D Gimbal for GoPro.

Probably, that's because there are far less the number of units out there flying and, by definition then, less the number reports... good or bad. I can tell you from personal experience and from the people I have heard from and work with, that the Zen H3-2D is reliable and you will love it...

DJI Zenmuse H3-2D Gimbal for GoPro.

Ghiro, can you explain what you mean? What feedback are you looking for? The Zen H3-2D works with the Wookong if you have the latest firmware loaded. What else are you specifically asking about?

Records home position but crashes to the ground :(

Hi Bensid. I will try to keep this brief just so that we don't get too far off topic. Basically my 8FG and R6208SB is setup so that only two channels go to specific values, and the others maintain last transmitted value. The three channels I setup for Failsafe are the U channel which will...

    Phantom won't start-up

No, never heard of such a thing. I would recommend starting by connecting the Phantom up to your computer and ensuring that all your settings and controls are calibrated and registering correctly. When you connect the battery, do the ESCs beep indicating proper startup?

Things They Do Not Tell You

Chris, Sounds like you have a good plan of attack. Just FYI, for the next 2-1/2 weeks my involvement on the forum is going to take a hit because of traveling. But that's the great thing about this forum, you'll find plenty of people willing to help you through this. Catcha around! Tim

Things They Do Not Tell You

Yes, that would perfectly explain it. I didn't want to jump to any conclusion as to what you had done with the transmitter controls, but if you had kept the sticks in the corner, that would account for it. So if you believe that is what you had done, and you're ready to venture outdoors and...

Things They Do Not Tell You

Hey Chris, Thanks for explaining things to us a little more. My concern is that, if all you did was give it throttle, and it took of sideways, something does not seem to be setup correctly. Unless, that is, that you kept your right thumb on that stick and had some movement on it. Because of...

Records home position but crashes to the ground :(

Yes, putting two in parallel won't double the time just because you're adding weight. I don't think you'll be outrunning your transmitter range really soon, but it's still good to figure that out. Ben, can you help thurcombe figure out his transmitter failsafe issue?
